Hello there, fellow readers!!!
Welcome to 'The Reckoning'. I'd like to say some things before this story begins. First of all, I do not own any of the Halo or the Mass Effect video game series. I mean, obviously guys, come on. The characters other than Master Chief and The Illusive man are mine and others'. This story was inspired by a roleplaying G+ community called 'The Reckoning'. It is my character's story, with many details from the community, such as characters, bases, events, etc. (though with MASSIVE changes) but the main character's back story out of the Reckoning base is my doing. I don't mean to steal anyone's idea or whatever.
Secondly, my goal for this book is not earning money or getting popular or anything other than making my dream, which is finishing this book, come true. I gave up writing long ago but now I decided I should start working on it again. The reason why I publish it here is because I need support. So please, feel free to comment on the following chapters, vote or criticise positively or/and negatively. I'd love to hear what you have to say, no matter how harsh it will be.
Lastly, forgive me for any grammar or vocabulary mistakes you find, my native language is not English. I am currently 15 years old and I'm from Greece. I will try hard not to bomb this story up with my terrible use of English, so, if you find any mistakes, no matter of what importance, please let me know. It will be much appreciated. ^-^
I want to thank the Reckoning's roleplayers for giving me a chance to improve my imagination and English skills, my friends for motivating me to write this story, the creators of Halo and Mass Effect for making such masterpieces and you, fellow readers, for choosing this story to read.
