The Stormclan Warrior

Chapter 1!

Snakekit woke up and hopped out of the nursery. His littermates were play fighting and SerpentStrike, his mother, was talking to Pantherclaw, his father. No one paid attention to him, as usual. No one thought he would ever be strong enough to become a warrior. But he was used to it. Being the runt of the litter, he was always mistreated. "Whatever" he thought. " Im gonna leave the clan tonight. Maybe life as a kittypet wouldn't be as bad. Maybe the food would be better." Birds had too much feathers, mice were too stringy, voles just tasted weird and squirrels were way too furry.

His mother and littermates slept quietly. Snakekit quietly crept out of the nursery, and out of the camp. After a while, he came to a Twoleg place. He explored for a while, when he bumped into a small cat, completely black except for her paw, which was white. Her collar had dog teeth sticking out of it. She unsheathed her claws, showing claws reinforced with dog teeth. "Scourge's daughter; Violet! " Snakekit thought. Violet was the leader of Stoneclan, and had killed the Dawnclan leader, Hookstar talking all of his nine lives with the swipe of a paw.

Snakekit backed away slowly. " WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!?!" Violet hissed. " I.... I'm sorry. I didn't mean.." Snakekit squeaked. " Well be on your way before I change my mind about letting you go." Violet growled. Snakekit immediately turned and ran. Violet was a killer, and he was lucky to get away alive.

Snakekit slept in his new home with his new Twolegs. It was almost dawn. His clan would find that he was missing soon. Suddenly, he heard something at the cat door. " Did Violet change her mind about letting me go?" Snakekit took a deep breath. " Psssst! Are you the kit who bumped into me yesterday? I need to talk to you." "Oh no" Snakekit crept out. " You never answered my question yesterday. Who are you?"

Why is Violet being friendly? " I'm Snakekit, former Fireclan cat" he whispered. " Well..... Do you want to join Stoneclan?" He suddenly remembered something. " Didn't Finchstar kill you?"

" No I played dead" Violet replied." But do you want to join Stoneclan?"

" Why?" Stoneclan certainly didn't need a useless kit. " Im not going to live forever, Snakekit. Who will lead the clan once I die?" Snakekit pondered her question for a while before responding," Alright then," The thought of leading a clan seemed impossible but it was coming true.
