Slash thought about Oceanstars offer. He paced in a circle flattening the ground beneath his paws. He was a rogue, not even in Stoneclan. In unfamiliar territory like this, he wouldn't survive. He decided that returning to Fireclan was her only chance of survival. Slash padded to Oceanstar to tell her about the decision." " Let all cats old enough to hunt their own prey join below the Talltree for a clan meeting," Oceanstar yowled. " I, Oceanstar, leader of Fireclan would like to announce that Slash formerly Snakekit will be part of Fireclan from now on," Angry mutters erupted from the crowd. " He betrayed his clan. He doesn't deserve to be in Fireclan!"

" Oceanstar wouldn't allow a STONECLAN warrior in Fireclan!!"

" Slash is a rogue. Rogues don't belong in Fireclan!"

" SILENCE!" Oceanstar hissed, causing many cats to flinch and all cats to immediately shut their muzzles. " He is my daughter's kit and I want you all to treat him as an equal. " With that, she hopped off the tree and padded towards her den. The crowd parted, Echosong and Hollow Fur padded towards Slash. " Hey Slash! Welcome back!" Echosong purred. " Im glad you returned," Hollow Fur mumbled rolling his eyes. " Don't be a grump Hollow Fur. He's your littermate," Pantherclaw scolded. " Its his fault Serpentstrike died!" Hollow Fur exclaimed. " He had to follow his leader's orders," Pantherclaw defended. " I will not have any arguments about Slash in Fireclan," Oceanstar growled watching from a distance. Hollow fur opened her mouth as if to protest, but closed it and padded away.

" I'll support you," Echosong meowed. " I will to," Pantherclaw added before they both padded away. Slash, who had been clawing at the dirt in silence explored the new territory, getting accustomed to his new home.
