There is severe drug abuse including major drugs like alcohol, meth, ect. They will be explained after every chapter they are featured in to give more insight and explanations to Kane's behavior.
I did mad research on this stuff.
And I know that if this was real life, Kane, the main character, would either be dead or dying in every sense of the word including physically and all of that.
He is though dying internally, mentally, and emotionally for the sake of the story so he still remains hot and healthy looking.
And also drugs are actually pretty gross and do gross things to your body so it's not supposed to be viewed as attractive in this story.

but it's nonetheless in here as well.
Kane takes these drugs to try to cover the constant pain he suffers and create an illusion that everything is okay and he is at least somewhat happy. This is all he can rely on to take away reality.
But yeah, just warning if anyone is sensitive to this kind of stuff.
