Chapter 4

I felt as if I was in a fairy tale.

I didn't know why I came here with him. I just some how believed him. After hearing that my father was somehow alive and that he was king of a realm. I had to find out for myself.

"Who are you exactly?" I ask feeling the grass tickle my toes as we walked down the path to the most grand castle I have ever saw.

"I'm the prince from Formosa. next in line for king." He says his brown hair messy...in a sexy way. He a king?.....he looked as if he was just a teenager from Earth. Not some King who was in charge of the unknown lands of Gelem

I nod and follow him as we enter the castle, grays and whites covered the insides of the huge castle it reminded me of the olden days. Though it had modern furniture.

"Kace? Is that you?" calls out a women's voice.

"Yes, Mom." He says with a smile.
Looking at him, I felt so tiny compared to him. He was tall and defiantly worked out.

A women in a purple dress appeared. I was surprised it wasn't some gown you'd except to see in a castle.

He stepped up and hugged his.... Mom?

"This must be the beautiful princess?" She said winking.

"Uh...umm" I say surprised by her words.

"Oh Mom. She's still new to all this be easy on her."
Kace says smiling.

She apologizes before turning away.

"Your king has requested Jayden."
Kaces Mom says.

" Thanks...um."I try to recall getting his mothers name.

"Jenny. My names Jenny." She says smiling.
She waves and heads out two huge wooden doors, into what looks like a...ballroom?

"Sorry bout that" he says.

I nod. Afraid to speak, because I followed him up huge stair cases to about to see my father.

We walk down a huge hallway as stops at the first door. And says "just walk right in" he then kisses my cheek and walks away.

Glancing back at me like he did for the first time in the school.

Opening the door. I see the same man I saw in the dream just yesterday.
"Daddy?" I say running over where he was leaning against his desk.

"Jayden." Is all he has to say.

Backing away I look into his brown eyes and ask "Why would you leave me?" I ask feeling tears travel down my face.

I can't believe he would do such a thing.

" I didn't want you to have a life of a fairy it's dangerous." He says looking as if he would loose his cool any moment.

"That's not a good enough excuse. I've been through hell. I've been alone. I used to think that you would come back and we'd happily ever after. But I sure as hell don't want that now!"
I scream. Looking down I felt and saw blue sparks from my hands.

"Calm down Jayden. Your powers are to strong for someone who doesn't know how to control it" he says putting his hand on my check.

I back away and open the door. Running down the stairs I trip over the long dress. And end up on the floor looking up at Kaces mother Jenny.

"Oh, Hunny. Lets get you cleaned up."

She gives me her hand and helps me up. Taking me to a room in the hallway.

" This is your room, mines four down the right and Kaces is there." she says pointing towards the door next to mine

"Do you mind letting me be alone" I say looking at the floor.

She pats my arm and walks away.
Kace is lucky to have such a great mom.
