Stepping foot into the bedroom in the castle. Was amazing. Though it didn't even compare to my bedroom. It was literally gigantic.
For a second or two I even forgot I was upset. There was a huge canopy bed. With light shades of pink and some white. The bed was made without one wrinkle and had hot pink pillows almost swallowing the bed whole.
Also, There was a flat screen on top of a long dresser. With a matching tall wardrobe and it all was lit up with little lamps attached to the walls. And the hardwood floors shiny.
It all looked like what you would see in a magazine.
I took a quick shower to calm my self. And to take some of my anger away. Grabbing a towel and walking back into my room, I jumped back in surprise.
I saw a stranger sitting on my bed. She looked familiar.
She looked up at me, her brown eyes big with excitement. Jumping up she said bowing, "Hello Princess, I'm Sara. Kaces sister."
I smiled realizing why she looked so filmier . Her short brown hair framed her tiny face. And she wore a long dress too. Though it was al lot fancier then the white one I had on. "Please call my Jay." I said with a grin.
"I'm glad there's another girl my age living in the place." She said looking at the floor. "The girls are age are mostly in the village. And in In are Realm. Not here in Gealms palace ." She explained.
Still standing in a towel, she looked at my lack of clothing.
"Oh..." She giggled "There's a party to celebrate your return at five in the ballroom...So I get to help get you ready."
I smiled nervously. "Sounds scary."
"Oh don't be nervous, it's just dancing. Nothing you can't handle."
I nodded.
----She jumped off the bed. And grabbed a robe off the door, and handed it to me. I turned around and wrapped it around and then let my towel drop, and tied the rope tight around my waist. Turning around she pointed to the vanity and chair.
"You have really long hair" she said admiring my damp blonde hair.
"Thanks Sara, I take good care of it."
She then got to work, blow drying my hair and then started to curl making sure to give it tons of hair spray and also a ton of volume. I watched as she changed me from a distressed teen to a beautiful young women. She curled my bangs and Then finally put a finishing layer of hair spray on. The hair still went to my belly button. Showing how long my hair really was. She then put some foundation, and blush on. And said to pick a dress, then she would match up the lip stick and do my eyes.
Going over to the wardrobe, my hands grazed over the dresses and landed on a red dress. That was strapless with a flowly bottom, a it was one that went to floor. She didn't want a poofy one. It looked like a lot of work to dance in.
Grabbing it out, Sara Screeched in happiness, and I joined in. Your gonna look amazing. I smiled at the thought.
She then did a smokey eye and put on red lip stick. I looked at my self in the mirror to see someone totally different. In a good way though.
She then helped me slip into the dress after I had got some lace underwear on. I went from 17 to like 25!
I put on some jewelry that Sara handed to me and Some black heels.
"Wow." I said spinning in the mirror at the finishing look.
Looking over at her, I felt bad. She looked nothing compared to me. Her dress and hair plain.
Looking at the clock we had 30 minutes. "Sit down." I said smiling. She sat down confusingly, then spoke..."Princ...I mean Jay. You don't have too."
I smiled. " I want too." And we both smiled. Luckily she was my size just a bit shorter. Straitening her hair and I gave her a poof with the cat eye and red lipstick. Then she quickly picked a poofy purple dress. And kept her black heels.
We both smiled, "lead the way" I said smiling. Thanks to some girl on girl time, which I missed having.... Made me forget about my father.
Heading down the huge spiral steps we headed into the wooden doors that I saw Kaces mother Jenny head into earlier that morning.
She went in and I hesitantly went in after her.
Everyone looked at me...there was a mixture if people and ages. Older, teens, even children.
I smiled looking at the floor. Some lowered there heads and others bowed or curtseyed. I was walking around exploring the huge room, when a tap on my back made me jump back.
Looking back I saw a small boy. He smiled, was probably about 8. Bending down, I went face to face to him.
"What's your name?" I asked to the boy.
"Daddy didn't tell you, I'm your brother..urg... Half brother Jamie."
I shook my head, though I wasn't surprised. It was my dad, who changed into someone I don't even know. A stranger.....
"Hello Jamie, wanna dance?" I asked admiring the piano playing slowly in the background.
His smile showed his answer "I never am aloud to have fun." Jamie spoke as I grabbed his hands and pulled him with me to the middle floor.
They fastened the music and we danced giggles echoed the room. And Watched as other children came and danced with me. And even Sara came and joined. At the end of the song Jamie was defiantly wanted to dance more. Though Jamie's eyes lit up from something behind me. And I felt his presence......Kaces. Turning around he was walking through a group of other couples dancing, to me.
"May I have this dance?" He asked looking as great as always. He was wearing a tuxedo and a black bow tie. I nodded, then bent down to recently found brother, he looked like dad. Kissing his check I whispered "Come to my room tomorrow at noon so we can have real fun." He nodded before running off.
I took his hand and he pulled me close. And we started dancing. He smelled like sugar cookies and his smile was bright. "What did you tell Jamie?" He asked confused. I giggled. "You look beautiful princess" He said spinning me, "You don't look to bad your self." I replied.
And a few songs later we were interrupted, "May I have this dance" said a blonde haired boy are age with a cocky smile.
Kaces eyes looked at him with anger "Ryan, were busy"
"Hmmm...Princess. I'm Ryan. " He said getting on his knee and kissing my hand. I then backed up with confusion. Who do these boys think they are, I'm not there property. I then looked at Sara whose eyes were full of worries, and I walked out of the ballroom and headed to my room, crying just wanting to go home.
