The Neverland Story

Ch.1 Story time

So here's a short story that takes place after 'Return to Neverland', enjoy :)

In Neverland, a place where no one grows up, as the sun started to set over the Lost Boys camp, and in an underground home under a large tree, Peter Pan, the leader of the Lost Boys and the boy who wouldn't grow up. Well, except that he did grow up, but he did it for a reason, so he can be with the girl he loves with all his heart, Wendy Darling. And when they grew up, Wendy moved to Neverland with Peter where they got married and had a son name Piper.

Piper who stopped growing up with he was around 16 or 17 now lives at a boarding school called Ever After High along with Jane Hook, daughter Captain James Hook, and with their new friends. And now, it was the day of Peter and Wendy's wedding anniversary, and the two who lived in the underground home had their full day and night planned out to celebrate their love.

So during the evening, Peter was sitting on a couch in his underground home and was examining a thimble, or as he used to call it a 'kiss'. But Wendy had explained to him what a real kiss was and a real thimble was, but he kept the thimble she gave him when they were young.

"Peter" he turned around to see his wife behind him with a bowl of strawberries in her hands "I've got some fresh strawberries."

"Sweet" he smiled as she placed the bowl on the table in front of them as she sat on the couch with him "Can you believe it's our wedding anniversary again?"

"Yep" she smiled.

"Just think, about 17 years ago, I proposed to you at the top of the tree house."

"How could I forget?" she smiled "We dance under the moonlight after that, it was so romantic."

"I never regret growing up with you, if you would've grown up like how it was suppose to be in our story, then we would of never gotten together."

"And Piper wouldn't be alive."

"You know, marrying you and having a family with you has been the greatest things that has happened to me."

"Same with me" she smiled.

Peter then stared into Wendy's green eyes as her long light brown hair draped over her shoulders. Even though she was grown up, she still looked like the same beautiful girl he fell in love with years ago. He then looked at the necklace around her neck, attached to the chain was an acorn with a hole in the center, it was the same acorn he gave her as his 'kiss' when they first met, it was the also the acorn that saved her life when Tootles shot her with his arrow when he mistaken her as a bird.

"I love you Wendy" he smiled.

"I love you too Peter" she smiled back.

But before they could go into a kiss, they suddenly heard a yell as their son Piper suddenly appeared by sliding down the slide that led into their room.

"Piper?" they both said confused.

"Oh" Piper said when he saw them as he gave a guilty smile "Hey mom, hey dad."

"What are you doing here?" Wendy asked.

But before he could answer, more yells where heard as the Lost Boys and Jane Hook slid down the slide bumping into Piper, and more yells followed as the Wonderlandians slid down the slide and into the room.

"Okay what is everyone doing here?" Peter asked.

Just then a door near the slide opened and Alice walked in by walking down the wooden stairs.

"You guys know there's a door right?" she asked the group.

"We know" Maddie said "What's so fun about a door?"

Alice then turned to Peter and Wendy.

"Sorry about this" she said with a guilty look "I tried to stop them but they were already sailing on Jane's ship, I had to grab onto the anchor in order to go with them."

"So why is everyone here?" Peter asked "I thought they all went back to Ever After this morning?"

"Oh we did" Piper said "But uh, can you guys do one little thing for us?"

"What?"

"Well the Wonderlandians wanted to hear the story about you guys and Alice when you were young, I mean I could of told them the story, but they kinda wanted to come back here and let you guys tell the story."

"Oh" they said surprised.

"So can you please tell us the story of when you guys were young?" Lizzie asked "Like when Peter decided to grow up."

"And how you guys got married" Bunny added.

"Basically the adventures you guys had" Alistair put in "Along with my mother."

"Well" Wendy said as she turned to Peter "You think our anniversary can wait?"

"I can wait" he said "And besides, I like telling this story."

Wendy smiled as she turned to everyone.

"Very well" she smiled "We'll tell the story."

"Yes!" Tootles exclaimed "I love story time!"

"Basically story time is our version of TV here" Piper told the Wonderlandians.

Everyone then either sat on the floor or on the chairs and bed as they got ready to listen.

"Well before we begin" Wendy said "I just want to say, this story is not only adventurous, but always very romantic, now if any of you aren't interested in romantic stories, then you don't have to listen."

At that point Tony tried to get up, but Tammy brought him back down.

"So there's gonna be some romance huh?" Kitty grinned.

"Pretty much" Peter grinned.

"Maddie" Kitty said "Get the tissues ready."

At that point Maddie reached into her hat and pulled out a box of tissues.

"Tissues ready" she said as Wendy gave a small laugh.

"Well then" she said "Where should I begin?"
