Ch.7 Grow up plan

Everyone started to laugh as they looked at Hook in the water.

"I'll get you for this Pan!" Hook yelled with anger "If it's the last thing I do!"

All of a sudden, a ticking was heard.

"That's not me!" Alice put in.

"Oh oh" Peter and Wendy laughed as they looked into the water to see the large crocodile swimming towards Hook.

"You better swim fast Hook" Peter smirked.

When Hook saw the crocodile, he shrieked as he swam away as fast as he could.

"Wow he swims fast" Wendy said amused.

"Well it is the crocodile" Peter put in.

"So uh, what was this thing you wanted to tell me?"

"Well uh, why don't we get out of here first and I'll tell you?"

"Okay."

"Alice let's go" Peter called.

"Uh, what are we gonna do about them?" Alice pointed to the pirates who were still floating in the air.

"I feel sick" one of them said with a sick look.

"Oh they'll be down soon" Peter said.

And with that he scooped up Wendy in his arms and flew off with Alice and Tinkerbell following. Now alone and up in Peter's tree house, Peter and Wendy stood on the balcony and gazed upon the evening view.

"Now what did you want to tell me?" Wendy asked.

"Well uh-" he said a bit nervously "Remember when Hook said I couldn't be with you cause you have to grow up and all, and I said that I could make that happen?"

"Yeah."

"Well, I really do mean that."

"What do you mean?"

"Wendy" he said as he took a deep breath and tried to calm himself "You know I really like you right?"

"I know" she smiled "And I like you too."

"But the thing is, the more we spend time together, the more I-" he hesitated.

"The more you what?"

He took another deep breath "The more I fall in love with you."

"Really?" she said surprised.

"Yeah" he sighed "And I really want to be with you."

"Oh Peter" Wendy smiled as she felt her heart flutter "I would like to be with you too, but we both know I have to grow up."

"That's why I was thinking, and I know this is going to sound crazy from me, but, I want to grow up with you."

"What?" she gasped.

"I know you're surprised to hear that from me, but I am so in love with you Wendy, and I would do anything to be with you, even if I have to grow up."

"Oh my gosh" she gasped again "You really mean that?"

"Yes. And another thing, if you get married, that means you can move out from your parents and live anywhere you want, so uh, I was thinking-".

"You want to marry me don't you?" she cut in with a small smile.

"Well uh, yeah."

"Well, you do realize that we're too young for that?"

"I know, that's why I want to grow up with you, cause I want to marry you."

Wendy gave another smile.

"I love you Wendy" he said "And I want to be with you."

Wendy felt herself blush as she gave a small giggle.

"Well if you really want to grow up so can be with me" she said "I'd say that's the most romantic thing you've ever done."

"So what do you say?"

"I would love to marry you" she smiled "But we'll have to wait until we're grown up."

"So how can we do that?"

"How would you like to live with me in London? We can grow up together."

"I would love that" he smiled "But uh, how will I know when we're grown up?"

"Oh you'll know" she smiled "The right moment will come."

"So when we're grown up, and after we're married, do you want to live in Neverland with me? That's way we can be together and not having to worry about getting old."

"I would love that" she smiled again as he returned the smile.

"I love you Wendy" he smiled.

"I love you too Peter" she smiled back.

And with that they leaned in and into a sweet kiss, and when they pulled away, they couldn't help but look into each others eyes and smile.

After that, Peter and Wendy went down to the camp where everyone was waiting.

"So?" they all asked them.

"What?" Peter said.

"Yeah I kinda told them about it" Tinkerbell said with a guilty smile.

"Oh Tink" he sighed.

"So how did it go?" Alice asked.

"Well" he said as he turned to Wendy "She accepted it."

"Really?!" everyone gasped.

"Yep" Wendy smiled "Looks like Peter's willing to grow up for me."

"So uh, how's is this gonna be like?" Alice asked.

"Well in order for me to grow up" Peter said "I'm gonna be living in London with Wendy."

"Seriously?" the Lost Boys gasped.

"Yeah" he smiled "We're gonna wait until we're grown up, and then we might actually get married."

At that point Alice gave a sequel.

"Oh my gosh!" she exclaimed "This is amazing!"

"Hold on" Slightly said "Peter, if you're gonna live in London and grow up, then so am I."

"What?" Peter said.

"Yeah" the Lost Boys agreed.

"If you're going to London" Tootles said "Then so are we."

"Seriously?"

"You bet" Nibs said "Cause us Lost Boys stick together, and if you're growing up, then so are we."

Peter and Wendy looked at each other with surprised looks, but they smiled and turned to the boys.

"Alright" Peter smiled "You guys can come."

"Yes!" they exclaimed.

"But we'll be visiting Neverland every once in a while" Wendy put in "And once Peter and I are grown up, we're moving back here."

"Sounds like a plan" Curly smiled.

"Well I'll be visiting you guys every once in a while" Tinkerbell said.

"We'll be waiting" Peter smiled.

"And I suppose that also means I'll have to go back to London" Alice said.

"Pretty much."

"Well then, I look forward to your guy's big day" she smiled.

Peter and Wendy then looked at each other and held hands, pretty soon, they knew that both of their dreams will come true.
