Chapter 17

Rydel's POV

I sat on my bed and watched one my favorite Youtubers, Zoella. Her thick British booming at full blast throughout my room.I was multi-tasking and texting my friends while I was at it. They're all totally jealous that I'm in my own personal ski lodge. Well, my step-dad's ski lodge. Still kinda mine.

I glanced up noticing the brunette walking past my room staring at her phone. I wanted to call her name, but I don't really think she'd be in the mood to be talking to anyone. But frig it.

"Hey, Um...Laur?" I yelled to her.

I heard the boots on the floor stop and a mop of brunette hair whipping around the doorway to look at me.

"Yeah?" She asked.

"Look, I'm sorry...about yesterday, I thoug-" I was shortly cut off by her putting up her hand for me to stop.

"I'm fine.." She said quickly before walking away probably to her room.

"Hey.." I heard a deep voice say as Laura walked out of the room.

"Hey.." She replied as the sound of her boots tapped against the wooden floor.

Ellington walked into my room and pointed behind me, "Where has she been?" he asked with a puzzled look on his face.

"No idea.." I replied as he sat on my bed.

"So, I've decided on what we should be.." He said.

"Oh, have you?" I smirked already know his answer. I pushed my hair back and already started leaning in.

"What the heck are you doing? I wanted to stay friends, or brother and sister if you will.." He said awkwardly.

I was mortified.

"I'm kidding!" He said leaning in and kissing me.

I pulled away and breathed a sigh of relief. I grabbed a pillow and smacked it upside his head hard, "don't ever do that again!" I yelled at him.

"I think a date is in order.."

"When would that be?"

"Just be ready whenever." He said before kissing my cheek and leaving without another word.

Maia's POV

"Okay..So I've been going over Laura's computer-" I said.

"Um..why? Are you trying to die? Do you see how tense that girl looks? I want no part! I will say something nice at your funeral! Count me out!" He exclaimed throwing his hands in the air.

Dramatic as always still adorable.

"Okay, Drama King. I get it! I was going to return it but, I was curious!" I said trying to show him what I found.

"Well don't be! Laura doesn't seem like herself. Who ever she is now. I don't wanna deal with that! Next thing you know you end up in a coffin! And then I'd be heartbroken-"

"Why would you be heartbroken?" I asked my heart starting to beat a bit faster than normal.

"I never said I would be.." He said shutting Laura's laptop and walking out of my room with it in the direction of her room.

Rocky's POV

Okay, I totally said it. I have a thing for Maia. Tell no one! I'm trusting you with this one! Liking your own sister! Blah Blah. Let's skip the excessive barfing, I get it she's my sister. It's not like it's by blood people need to chill.
