"Xander...how long have you been here?" I asked in a whisper tone
"Half an hour!" He said a little irritated
"Ok I'm sorry!! My powers are useless until the effect of the black bolt wear off!! Which is really soon!!" I defended myself snapping my fingers only letting out the tiniest zap at Xander
"OWW!" He whisper yelled. Although a light bolt shot at a light Angel does nothing ,it still hurts A LOT.
We watched her a little more and could hear her singing something in the tune of twinkle twinkle little star.
"Twinkle twinkle little flower, dead you are as you give me power. How I really love to kill stronger and stronger grow my skill. Twinkle twinkle little one...Say goodbye your time is done..." Secret sang
"What the fuck?...." Whispered Xander. I looked at him and gasped then slapped his arm.
"Angels don't swear!!" I whispered
"I'm sorry!! But seriously!! That girl is messed up!!" He defended himself. I nodded and let this slide for the so called Angel of light who's really grumpy!
"Do you have any idea why she's so hateful?" I asked
"Well she's a dark angel for goodness sakes she hates everything! But I've never seen a dark angel this...dedicated. She's literally on a killing spree. Which is what we are here to try and stop" explained Xander. I nodded and we watched her again.
She continued killing every plant that she late eyes on. I looked around and even noticed that...she killed some animals too!! From birds to rabbits...this girl killed it all. To kill that much... Requires lots of power..
"Wow...Xander...she's really powerful. I mean it. One of the most powerful I've seen yet..." I said worried.
That's when my powers came back...I knew that because a white feather of mine had fallen in front of Secret. Shoot... She looked at the feather and picked it up.
"Well well...an angel from the light side I see?... Hiding?... Are you too scared?..." She mocked looking around. She began throwing dark bolts in every direction she could.
Should we reveal ourselves?" I asked Xander
"No not yet!" He replied. I nodded.
"Not going to come out? Reveal yourselves Angels!" She demanded. We watched as she eyed the family strolling by with a baby.
We watched her smirk...
"No...she can't..." I said. She shot a bolt at the baby in the stroller.
The baby began to cry and the family began to panic as their child was breathing very heavily. I checked the baby's timer...Secret was slowly draining the baby's life right out of it!!
That's when I revealed myself. She tried to throw a bolt at me but she missed. Xander came out too and began throwing bolts at Secret. I shot a bolt at the baby trying to fight against Secrets power.
"She's really strong!! Hurry and slow her down!!" I yelled as I tried to save the baby.
"Help us help us!! Our baby is dying!" Yelled the mother
"She's too powerful!!" Yelled Xander who was trying to hold her down with his powers. She was slowly breaking free of his powers grasp.
"Let go!!" Yelled Secret
"No I won't let you kill the baby!!" I yelled using up every bit of my power and energy to save this baby.
Suddenly...she got out of Xander's grasp and used her free hand to shoot me with a bolt... She hit me rendering my powers as they were temporarily disabled.
"NO!!" I yelled.
"I win!" She yelled
"Xander do something!" I yelled
He nodded and tried to hit her with a light bolt...he hit her!! But...it deflected.
"What..how?!?!" Yelled Xander
"Stupid Angels of light...you can't beat one of the strongest and most powerful Angels in the Angel world!!" She laughed evilly.
Xander kept hitting her but nothing was working! She was too powerful!!
That's when I knew the faith of the child and I hated myself for knowing the outcome. So I decided to reveal myself to the family. The baby boy was down to his final drop of sand because of Secrets horrible acts
"Hello..." I said scared
"Is this an angel?!" They shrieked
"Yes..." I smiled faintly
"Save him please!!!" She begged
"I cannot... I'm not able to.." I said through shaking breaths
"Please...angel...please don't take him now!!"
"I'm sorry but time has come...I can't stop it , they beat me to it" I said closing my eyes as the final drop of sand fell.
He dropped and stopped breathing.
"NOOOO!!!" She yelled
"I'm sorry...I couldn't stop it...there too powerful " I said as I vanished through sobs.
Another horrible deed completed by someone I thought was trusted. Another one I couldn't stop.
The family no longer saw me but they could see one thing. A white feather and a black feather falling, one for light and one for failure to save...
