My Alpha

Chapter 15

"Esme, Focus," Liam rubs his temple.

"I'm trying," I say putting my hands on my hips, annoyed.

Liam sighs, "Okay, let's try this again."

I nod and get ready. Liam and I are currently working on my powers. We have been in the backyard of the pack house for about three hours and have defiantly improved. I can do more things without getting the headache that comes after.

Liam stands, waiting for me to control his mind when I get an idea.

So far I have made him do a cartwheel. Say, 'I'm a mamma's boy.' I made him carry me. I made his make me a sandwich because he was refusing to give me a lunch break and I made him rub my shoulders. I don't know why he hasn't left yet.

"Last one?" I ask wanting to be done.

He nods, "For today."

I grin victoriously and begin. I look into his eyes and focus on what I'm saying to him. 'Kiss me.'

I focus on it for about ten seconds before Liam's expression changes and he walks over to me, crashing his lips into mine. I smile under the kiss and wrap my arms around his neck, while his go around my waist. Our lips move in sync and he softly bites my bottom lip, but stops there.

"That was my favorite command," he whispers, his lips only centimeters away from mine.

I smirk, "My favorite was when you made me a sandwich." I'm lying, kissing him is soooo much better.

Liam chuckles and kisses my forehead, "Let's go."

"Where to?" I ask as he takes my hand and leads me past the house.

"Meeting," he states suppressing a grin.

I groan, "What for?"

Liam gives me a 'seriously' look.

"Nevermind," I roll my eyes. It's about Luca and his pack.

Liam leads me to where they are meeting today. I've been really thinking about the whole situation. If Luca came and threatened Liam or my new pack at all, I'm going to do whatever he says, even if it means I have to leave Liam. The thought makes me grip Liam's hand a little harder and he notices.

"You alright?" he asks confused.

I nod my head and give him a fake smile.

Liam raises an eyebrow and opens his mouth but is interrupted by Hudson.

"Alpha, we have some news," he says just as we reach the doorway of the meeting room.

'We will talk later,' Liam mind links me.

"What is it?" Liam asks Hudson. Liam takes a seat and pulls me into his lap, causing me to blush a little and causes most of the guys to chuckle.

"So Alpha, Luna, we received a message today, it was found on the southern section of our territory.

"Where is it? What did it say?" Liam asks gripping my waist a little.

Hudson looks to Keith, who nods, then gets a paper out of a folder and hands it to Liam.

Liam then holds it so we can both read it.

Esme,

I know you or someone will find this eventually. Just know I forgive you for running away, but you will have to make it up to me when we bring you back. I have always known you were special Esme. You and I, we can be great together. When we come for you, and we will, soon, it's best you just come this us and do as we say so we don't have to waste time killing the ones you love.
