Part 1
~Astral~
I hover in formation, a V like the migrating birds, with the other members of my team. We wait patiently for our orders from the Light Forces, our leaders. To my left and right are my comrades. There are twenty-four of us in all, as it has been in the past and will be in the future. We are the Light Agents, awaiting our location to fulfill our mission.
"Agents," a whisper of a voice speaks through our minds. We close our eyes, and we are taken to an empty space, where we remain in formation. "You will be sent to the Human World his time, where darkness awaits. We do not yet know how much has left, but we will assign you to the general location."
The Light Forces are merely voices, but they can to major mental damage. For this reason, we try our best to comply with their commands.
"Like the other times, we will erase your memory of your home world. You will recover your memories once your mission is complete."
They begin to assign locations. Since we do not know the different parts of "Earth" as they call it, so they send mental images of the locations to each spirit and move on, going in numerical order.
"Agent 12," they summon.
I drift forward. "Yes?" I respond.
They send a mental image of an enormous bustling city full of creatures with pale, tanned, and dark complexions. The sight of so many surprises me. How can so many live in a single planet?
"Is this alright?" the Light Forces ask.
Of course, I give the appropriate response, "Where ever the darkness is located."
Satisfied, they move on to 13, 14, 15, and so on. Soon, we all have our locations separate from each other. I do not know why, but I do not question their decision. I simply follow orders.
We are now being transported to our designated areas, and the familiar feeling of falling takes over. I feel my own world slipping away fragment by fragment. By the time I land, I remember nothing. Feeling drowsy, I sleep in the full moon night.

I awake in the morning surrounded by the creatures I saw in my mind. I get up, shaking my head to clear it. Where am I? I ask myself. I look around, determined to complete my mission.
