Two days later...
I woke up to my alarm, I sighed, and rolled over. Slowly getting out of bed, I neared my desk, and grabbed my books. I just pulled my hair to the side, doing a braid, and not doing make up. Then putting on a sweater, I know it's hot outside, but I didn't like to show to much skin. Then a pair of blue jeans, I starred at my reflection, my huge glasses covering my blue eyes, I frowned. There was a knock on my door, I turned to face my dad. "Morning. Elizabeth is driving you to school." he smiled.
"No." I whispered.
"What did you say sweetie?" he asked me, I looked back up at him, and shook my head.
"Nothing." I lied, he neared me, and kissed my forehead.
"Everything is fine." he whispered. "It's just maybe she's not used to you.."
"Or she doesn't like me." I rolled my eyes. My dad smirked.
"Now who wouldn't like you?" he asked.
"Did you make breakfast?" I asked.
"No, Marina did though." my dad smiled, walking out, and shutting my door. I looked once more at my reflection, before throwing my book bag over my shoulders, and walked out. Running into a half naked Elizabeth, she was wearing her bra, and her underwear.
"Move." she demanded, I quickly did what she said, and she walked passed me to the bathroom. I sighed, walking downstairs, and grabbing a piece of toast.
"Morning, Karrie." Marina greeted.
"Morning." I smiled, taking a big bite of my toast, and sighed.
"Is something wrong?" she asked me.
"It's nothing I can't deal with." I said, just then Elizabeth walked in, and this time she was wearing a pair of skinny jeans, a black tank top, and a pair of tennis shoes. Her hair was in it's usual waves, she was wearing eyeliner, and her blue eyes popped out. I wonder if my eyes would do that? I thought.
"Morning." she smiled at Marina, looking at the toast. "Did you make these?" she asked.
"Yes." Marina answered.
"Thank you." Elizabeth smiled, taking a piece of toast, and taking a bite. We finished up eating, I finished first, and brushed my teeth. Elizabeth was after me, we walked outside, and neither of us spoke. We got into her car, she started it up, and sped off. She pulled out a cigarette, not bothering to roll the windows down. "So about Friday night, I didn't mean it." she finally spoke.
"Meant what?" I asked.
"You know what I said." Elizabeth said, looking at me, and then back at the road. "It's just, I don't know, I was kind of hoping you'd come with me." she paused, "It was a fucking fun party." putting the cigarette into her mouth, and turning.
"I'm not used to going to parties." I answered, it was the truth. Elizabeth hummed, taking the cigarette out, and rolling down her window. Just to dust it off, she nodded her head.
"I can understand that." she mumbled. "Were here." she said, as we parked, and everyone looked at us. I took in a shaky breath, "Calm down, don't like people starring at you huh?" Elizabeth asked.
"Of course not." I answered, she nudged me, and handed me a rolled up something. "No." I said.
"Just fucking take it, it'll calm you down." she smiled, shoving it into my mouth, and lighting it. I inhaled, taking it out of my mouth, and coughing. "Take another hit, and I'll take it." I did as she said, instantly my nerves calmed, and I smiled. "good girl," Elizabeth took it from me, and popping it into her mouth. "Lets go." she opened her door, I slowly got out, and people were gasping. Probably because I was hanging out with Elizabeth. A bad girl. I heard Elizabeth squeal, running up to a guy, and smiling at me. "Alex, this is my step sister Karrie." she said, his name snapped me out of my high.
