"Pride and Prejudice"
Mr.Bingley moves to the park with his sister.
Darcy comes along also, a prideful mister.
Jane Bennett catches the eye of Bingley at the public ball,
They become close, and then with sickness does she fall.
Elizabeth stays with Jane at the Bingley's own house,
The attention of Darcy making her feel like a mouse.
Because the Bennett's are girls and cannot inherit,
In comes their cousin Collins, to him, not one merit.
Also introduced, a deceitful young man named Wickham.
He lies to the Bennett's and manages to trick 'em.
Collins wants a wife, so to Elizabeth he goes,
She declines, an oh, what a tantrum her mother throws!
Collins gets over her and picks Charlotte, her friend.
The Bingleys just up and leave Jane, whose heart needs time to mend.
Elizabeth goes visit the married Collins' home,
They have dinner with Lady Catherine, a mean old gnome.
Darcy proposes to Elizabeth, who gets unnerved.
She says mean things, thinking it's what he deserved.
He founds out all the lies Wickham told and writes a letter,
Elizabeth reads it and starts treating Darcy better.
It's with young Lydia Bennett that Wickham does elope,
They are both unliked, the Bennett's starting to lose hope.
Charles Bingley comes back an proposes to Jane,
Lady Catherine threatens Elizabeth with a world of pain.
Because Lady C disliked her and Darcy's association,
She tried to make Liz say it was false information.
When Darcy found out that Elizabeth might love him too,
He proposed and she said yes, glad he didn't bid her adieu.
Now that the story has come to it's closing,
You can dream if your own happy ending while you are dozing.
