CHAPTER 13

AVA'S POV

"MADDIE!?"

My heart started pounding really fast. I couldn't let Namjoon know that I told her I have been hanging out with him but then again I can't lie.

"It's not what it seems like! I swear!" Namjoon shouted sounding really worried. As he said that I started to shake really bad and started rubbing my fingers together roughly. Please Maddie don't say anything. I kept saying that in my head. I kept biting my lip wishing for a miracle to appear. My eyes started to water and a tear even went down my soft cheeks.

"Relax. I already know. Ava already told me about you guys. Your secret is safe with me!"Maddie said happily. Aww Maddie really!! Why did you have to say something! I turned my body to face Namjoon. His worried face turned into a mad face.He looked at me with disgust. I put my hands on his arm hoping he wouldn't leave my sight.

"Is it true?" he says angrily. 

"Maybe...OK yes! Bu-"

"Save it! I'm done with you."

"No!" I screamed as he yanked his arm away from me.He stormed out of the door and headed to his car. 

"Next time Maddie,keep your mouth closed and shut the hell up for once, OK?!" I say as I ran out the door. I can't believe Maddie. It's all her fault! I run and scream to Namjoon but he ignores me. I hurry and open the door on the passenger seat.

"Get out!" he yells as he pushes on the gas petal hoping I would leave and get out on the side of the rode.

"No! I need to talk to you. Keep the car going!" so he kept the car going. He looks at me and rolls his eyes.

"Look,I'm sorry but I couldn't let me and Maddie's friendship go to risk over some boy."

"Oh now I'm just some 'boy'."

"N-no, I didn't mean it like that.You know what!? Why do you even care so much about me telling one person. Why do you have to care what people think huh!?"

"Because...I needed to keep you safe and away from bad things."He says calmly.

"What do you mean! What do we have to be afraid of!? Keep me safe from what?I can't believ-"

"BECAUSE I LOVED YOU ENOUGH TO KEEP YOU SAFE FROM BAD THINGS HAPPENING!"

I couldn't believe what I just heard. H-he loves me?

"What?" I say in shock.

"I love-"

*BOOM*
