CHAPTER 9

AVA'S POV

I woke up feeling happy today. I even blushed a little. I let out a big deep sigh. I had the greatest feeling ever. Yesterday I kissed Namjoon. He pulled me and he kissed me back. And he likes me. I smirked. He likes me. He likes me! HE LIKES ME! I turned to the side of my bed and I fell off. I can never have a happy moment without getting hurt. Anyways I crawled to go get my phone. Namjoon texted me! It read 'yeah,and I need you'. Bro,he just said he needs me. Maybe this means something. Maybe he's trying to ask me out! OMG! He wants me to be his girlfriend! 

"I'm gonna be his girlfriend." I kept saying and singing. This is the best 

"This is the best da-ouch!" I ran into the wall. I rolled my eyes and giggled. I went in the kitchen to grab me some toast. I spread some butter and strawberry jelly. It was delicious. Good thing I made myself 2. As I was eating at the table I hurry and got up and ran to my room. I accidentally flipped over my toast.

"Oops." I said with a crooked face. I ran to my room to get my phone. I asked Namjoon if he wanted to come over.

A-U wanna come over?

N-sure be there in 5

I smiled so hard I almost broke my face. I sat on the couch watching tv waiting for him. He finally arrived 10 minutes later and my day was just getting better and better.

"Hey! Mind if we watch a movie?"I said.

"Sure! Let's watch a scary one!"

"No. I hate horror movies."

"Please. I'll be your pink princess."

"Fine.What are we watching?"

"The Conjuring."

I cooked some popcorn and joined him on the couch. He started the movie. Gosh, I already wanted to scream because it looks so scary.

"Listen..."he said

"Yea?"

"About the kiss, I-"

"AHHHHHH!" I screamed and we were only into 5 minutes of the movie.

"Here,"he put his arm around me,"just look into my eyes and you won't have nothing to be afraid of. The tension in the room was getting hot and so was he. 

"Yea."I smiled. He held my chin with his few fingers and looked into my eyes. I looked right back. I slowly leaned toward and kissed me. I pushed him back.

"Wait,I have to ask you something."I said.

"Yea?"

"Do you want to go out with me? Ya know, be my boyfriend?"

"Uh...I can't."

"What?" I automatically got up from the couch. I stood there with a confused face. He just rejected me.
