The way, a simple human emotion can make you think,
It can put you on your feet, or push you off the brink.
To fall off or to fall down, confusing enough it might seem,
An air of melancholy is all that you feel.
The mind says yes but the heart says no,
And like that begins a series of truths untold.
They want to see you cry, they want to see you ruin your life,
They want you to go running back to them and tell them they were right.
Will you give them what they want? It does sound like a simple thing to do.
To just give up and live a life that isn't for you.
No. You won't. What you will do is pick yourself up and dust yourself off.
You will stop the effects by searching the cause.
