Chapter 2

Tay POV

When I woke up the previous morning, August's slob ass was still sleep. I honestly can not believe this nigga had the nerve to come home at 5am AND he smells like some cheap perfume.

I went to the bathroom to freshen up, patiently waiting for August to get up. We've been going strong for two years, he's always came home late but I've never suspected cheating until last night.

I mean..what would you do if your boyfriend came home smelling like another woman's perfume? Exactly.
After I freshened up, I decided to go downstairs and make some breakfast for August and I.

I know what you guys are thinking.. "Why the heck are making him breakfast after what he did?" Well I mean, I can't really blame him for something yet. Right??

I decided to make some pancakes,eggs,bacon, toast. Simple but hey, food is food. I made August a plate and placed it in the microwave and then I made mines. Growing up I always believed in making my man's plate first.

I heard the shower running from upstairs so I figured August had gotten up.

I said my prayers and started eating my food. It wasn't until I finished when August walked downstairs shirtless w/ some plain blue basketball shorts on.

Lord knows my man was fine & that's what scared me sometimes, especially when he came home late like that. But I was too stupid to ever say anything. I guess you can say that I hate arguing so I try not to bitch about everything and avoid the arguments.

But this dude was making it sooo damn hard.

"Your food is in the microwave" I told him. Before sitting back down at the table to finish my orange juice.

"Okay, cool" He said barely looking at me. Which was strange considering the fact that he always looks me in my eyes when he talks to me... Idk maybe I'm just tripping.

"So....how was lastnight with the guys?" I asked slightly curious and hoped he woild give an explanation to his scent last night/this morning.

"Eh, it was ight I guess. I lost track of time again. Im sorry Tay, but thanks for the meal." He said.. He never fails to disappoint me. I mean everytime I pit my faith in him he lies. I love this man, but I let him slide with so much shit and I'm honestly sick of it. But I made a promise and that was to stick with him forever.

August POV

I felt bad for not telling Tay the whole truth. But she barely cares when I go out with the boys, since she trusts Michael, but I wouldn't say the same for Chris. She thinks he's a bad influence on me. I don't blame her though. I was brought back when she asked about my night. She NEVER does that.

"Look August, I'm just going to be straight up with you. We both know that I hardly ever complain about you going out with your friends. But when you come home smelling like some cheap ass perfume! Then that's where the problem comes in! And the fact that you get in the bed with me smelling like a another female is down right DISRESPECTFUL!" said Tay out of the blue. I ain't even gone lie, I did not expect that. Especially coming from Tay. It's rare that she ever yells especially like this.

" Look Tay, it ain't even like that. Me and the guys got carried away in the drinks, so Michael called Chyna to get us. When she dropped me off I gave her a friendly thank you hug. And that was that. Come on Tay really? You honestly think I'll cheat on you after two years? I thought you knew me better than that man. This ain't even you. I don't know whats gotten into you but you need to chill with that shit." I Told her lying my ass off. But aye I'm a man who's madly in love with a woman. And I would do anything to keep her & if lying is that then thats what im going to do.

Tay's Pov

After he said that I felt bad. The one time I do get some balls and stick up for myself, it occurs in the wrong situation.

I sighed and my mood went from savage to guilt real quick.

" Look Aug-" I said getting cut off by him

"Look man I don't wanna hear it" he said taking his plate up stairs. Leaving me there looking stupid and feeling like a complete asshole.
