Each year 10 billion donuts are produced in the US!
On a side note, I hear there are plans to bring Krispy Kreme into Canada. I live in Canada and I hope Krispy Kreme does come here because I've heard really good things about their donuts. Then again we have Tim Hortons and they have excellent donuts. I should stop, I'm making myself hungry.
