I had been sitting in this tree for hours and nothing had happened yet. I was so close to giving up at this point, but I thought back to Ash. She gave me a new kind of motivation as I sat on the hard wood of the tree branch.
The lights in the top room flickered on. The sound of my racing heartbeat flooded my ear drums. Thump. Thump. Thump.
Three figures stood like statues I front of the window, most likely talking to each other. A loud scream filled the eerie forest. "P-p-please d-don't hurt m-me" a strained voice whimpered.
I would have recognised it anywhere, my best friend. Ash. And these people had taken her. Another ear-splitting screech circled the night sky.
I had to do something, but I knew that if I sprinted inside my ninja skills would not be able to save the both of us. It was best to wait.
All of the lights in the house had been switched off over an hour ago, I was now tip-toeing my way over to the window I presumed Ashton was in. My eyes travelled up the building landing on the window. The bricks were laid out unevenly enough for me to scramble my way up to the ledge.
Once inside my eyes slowly adjusted to the dim lighting. The moons silvery rays shone in threw the window making this picture seem so surreal and even peaceful. There was dried blood on the floor in a few places leading to a single bed sitting in the middle of the small bedroom. A small figure lay on the bed, curled up in a fettle position shaking violently.
Dashing over to her I noticed wounds on her arms neck and legs, crisp dry blood surrounded the supernatural injuries. Shaking her body lightly in an attempt to wake her up I bent down to whisper soothing things in her ears.
Ashton was now up and somewhat moving. We slowly trudge our way over to the door, opening it ever slowly. Straining our ears for the slightest sound. "Aston jump on my back" I commanded, we were currently walking to slow for my licking. I lowly grunted as the extra weight was added on top of me. I raced my way down the stairs and to the back door, opening it with twitching fingers. Beads of sweat began forming on my forehead, slightly sliding down my face.
I breathed a sigh of relief as my feet hit the clearing I had set a tent up in. I thought it would be best that in the chance we escaped to have a place to stay the night away from those creeps, we would get up early and Ash would come and live with me. For now we both need sleep and Ashton needs her wounds cleaned and bandaged.
Short I know! Hope you enjoy It anyway, have a fun night chubby bunnies.
