Chapter One

I, Julia Kipps, was freaking out.

Don't judge me. You would've done the same thing in my situation. I mean, is there any other way to react to finding out that you would get to meet your idol, the one and only Max Bing?

I had only been obsessed with Max for, I don't know, forever.
He had become famous at the age of sixteen, and I had been a fan ever since his first hit, 'Honey Don't'.

Two years later, I was running the biggest Max Bing fanpage on Instagram, I was also going to meet him.

All I could say was, I owed my dad a lot.

My dad had gotten into his Branflakes obsession six months ago, and now we went through six boxes a month.

A few months back, in February to be exact, I had seen a picture of Max on the back of one of the boxes. Naturally, that had grabbed my attention.

It turned out that Max Bing was running a contest: on the inside of the Branflakes box there was a ticket. All you had to do was fill out your name and phone number, and mail it to a certain address and you were entered into a contest where the winner would be flown to Hollywood to spend two weeks with Max.

Flash forward four months, and I got a call from Mic. Industries letting me know that I had won. I, along with two people of my choice, would be flown to Hollywood to get to meet Max Bing, the biggest gift to humanity since sliced bread.

Okay maybe they hadn't said that part, but it was true.

I should know. I knew everything about Max Bing. That was why my Instagram page 'BingOverGoogle' was such a success. It was full of unknown facts about Max, plus other things, like manips, comparisons to Hayden Pegg and reasons why Max was better, rare photos, and details about his upcoming shows.

All I had to do now was pack. My plane was leaving tomorrow, and my younger sister, my dad and I would be on out way to Hollywood from Hunter's Creek New Jersey.

I lay down on my bed, looking up at the posters of Max on my wall. I couldn't believe that I was going to see him in real life. I couldn't wait, and I was so excited to post about all of it on Instagram. My followers would finally get to know if it was true that he smelled like clementines, and whether his teeth really shine in the sunlight.

The best part, in my opinion though, was the fact that I got to go to the TSAs.

The TSAs, also known as the teen sensation awards, were the event of the year. Anyone who was anyone showed up, and the awards were totally unique.

Two years ago, Katie Bicsel had punched a pap who asked if she had gotten a boob job, and last year, Hayden Pegg and his girlfriend had broken up  during the awards. Not that that was so shocking though. When was Hayden Pegg  not breaking up with someone?

One of the many reasons why Max Bing was better than Hayden Pegg.

Usually I'm a kind and loving girl, but I had no problem saying that I hated Hayden Pegg.

He and Max were bigger enemies that any other celebrities out there. They made Taylor Swift and Katy Perry look like BFFs. It wasn't uncommon for them to shade each other in tweets, or even outright insult each other in interviews.

No one was a fan of both of them. Teenage girls were split in two: Max Maniacs, and Haydenizers.

Max Bing was everything you could want. He was always kind in his interviews, he hosted contests like these for his fans, he wore button downs, the list could go on and on.

Hayden Pegg on the other hand, always wore ripped jeans and black t-shirts. He never smiled for pictures, only smirked, dated a new girl every month, and despite being able to afford any car he wanted, rode a motorcycle everywhere.

I don't get how so many girls could find him better than Max Bing.

I continued to pack, making sure to bring my cutest outfit. I knew it wouldn't happen, but a girl could dream. Maybe Max Bing would fall in love with me over this vacation and we'd be the next It couple of Hollywood.

Then again, those minds of things only happen in the movies.

I grabbed a pair of black short shorts to go with my white crop top, and tried to imagine Max's face when he saw how pretty his contest winner was.

Okay, maybe pretty is an exaggeration, but I will admit that I can rock a pair of short shorts.

Next I put in the dress I wanted to wear to the TSAs. They would be the second day of my trip.

The dress I had chosen was a short black dress, with lace. I was going to buy a fancy gown, but it seemed like an insane amount of money to spend on one night. The only dress in willing to invest that much in is my wedding dress, and as much as I wish I was, I wasn't marrying Max Bing.

That didn't mean I wasn't going to dress up. I had bought black stilettos, and brought all of my makeup, which probably weighed as much as I did.

I had to look nice if I was going to walk down the red carpet with Max Bing.

Next I threw in some bikinis, since there was no way I was going to Cali and not going to the beach.

After about twenty minutes of packing with Max Bing's album, 'Hate That I Love' playing in the background, I was done.

Now I just had to wait for tomorrow to actually be on my way to meet my hero.

AN: I've had this written for months, but didn't publish it until now. I don't like to start stories until I'm sure I'm ready to commit to writing them, and until I've got an acceptable amount of chapters already written.

I'm a little nervous though. This is the first original story I'm publishing.

So, what do you think? I know this chapter was a little boring, since it was just the introduction to the story basically. I hate those stories where everything happens in the fist chapter. You need time to build your characters and their stories. I hope you guys feel the same way, and don't just think this story is the most boring thing you've ever seen.

Let me know in the comments what you think is gonna happen. How will Max react to seeing her? Will she bump into Hayden Pegg? Does Max really smell like clementines? Will there be romance...?
