"Should I go in first or should you?" I asked Hayden. In order to avoid being caught, we couldn't walk in to the awards together.
"You go first," he said simply.
He turned off the car, and tossed me the keys. "Thanks for the lift."
I caught them and smiled. "Thanks for the donut."
I straightened my dress out a little bit, and then I headed into the building.
To say that people had noticed that I was gone would be an understatement. The minute I walked in, all eyes, and cameras, turned to me.
"Where were you?" Max demanded.
I blushed. "Oh I was just, you know... Freshening up."
"Most people don't freshen up for over an hour," he retorted, but he let it go, and turned back to the stage.
The Pocket Rippers were performing, and I was pretty sure they were the last performance of the night, which meant I had missed most of the TSAs.
I wanted to be mad, but I couldn't. Not after seeing that poor little girl in the hospital. I may not be fond of Hayden, but I like to think I'm not too awful of a person that I would sit at a fancy award show instead of helping a sick child.
I know what it's like to see someone you love like that... I wouldn't wish that on anyone, not even Hayden Pegg.
Although, Hayden Pegg wasn't being so... Hayden Peggish tonight. He was actually fun to be around, and I think he's said more to me than Max Bing has.
I want to believe that Max is enjoying our time together, but sometimes I feel like he's just in it for the money.
Oh well. At least we're spending time together. I'd be ridiculous to complain that the time in spending with my celebrity crush wasn't perfect.
Still, I was human. I was allowed to wish for things to be perfect.

The next morning, I woke up and turned on my phone, like I do every morning.
Usually I check my texts first, but when I realized how many Instagram notifications I had, I clicked on that one first.
I wasn't even logged into my fan account, so I definitely wasn't expecting any notifications.
As I looked at them, I gasped. I had over a hundred new followers, but my comments were full of hate.
"What a fake fan. Disgusting." @bingisbae wrote.
"So pathetic." From @bingtastic, and more awful comments I couldn't bring myself to read.
When I went into my fan account it was clear why.
My while news feed was filled with a picture of me and Hayden Pegg laughing at the ice cream store, and an article underneath about how I was a supposed Max Bing fan, who had even won his fan contest, and yet chose to leave the TSAs early with Max's sworn enemy.
Some of the captions on these posts were about how pathetic Hayden was that he would convince me to do this, just to get into the news, but most were just hate directed at me.
I was going to kill Hayden Pegg.
°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•
My plan to Murder Hayden Pegg couldn't immediately begin, since I didn't even have his phone number, or any of his information, but I would get to him.
I couldn't believe he'd set me up like that. I didn't believe for a second that he didn't know someone had taken our picture. I bet he even paid the person to take it. To be a celebrity and not know when someone was taking pictures of you, was like being an Olympic swimmer, and needing floaties.
All I could think about was what Hayden said at the awards. "I'll win in the next competition". I wasn't stupid. I had been set up. It probably looked great for him to show the world that he could get any girl he wanted, even Max Bing's date to the TSAs.
I was just another little challenge in the Bing vs. Pegg war, and now Hayden could add another point to his side.
And to think I had almost stopped thinking of him as the biggest jerk in the world.
I quickly uploaded a picture of Max and me on the red carpet to Instagram, and then got dressed.
Today was a pretty calm day. I was planning on just going on a run, and then maybe do some shopping.

Millions of people dream of meeting celebrities, and yet I manage to bump into the one person I didn't want to see.
Hayden Pegg should not just be strolling the streets, like a normal person. And he most definitely should not have been in the bookstore at the same time as me, looking at the same books as me.
I glared at him as soon as I saw him.
"Woah, what's with the angry face, girl?" He said, raising in eyebrow in confusion.
That only upset me more. How could he still keep up his stupid act?
"Are you being serious right now, Pegg?" I said, not caring that at least ten tween girls were recording me. "You set me up! You knew that there would be paparazzi, so you took advantage of me to make it look like I ditched Max Bing to go on a date with you!"
If looks could kill, I'd be six feet under. "If you think," Hayden said in a quiet voice, shaking with anger. "that I would fake the situation last night for fame or whatever, then you don't know the first thing about me, and I never want you to."
With that, he grabbed his book, and left, leaving me behind embarrassed and confused, but still angry.
