Loving A Werewolf

Chapter 1:

It is the middle of the summer and Violet was on her way to a new home in Lairsville, she wanted a long Brea from the big city she lived in her whole life. *Ring-Ring* Violet looks at her phone and her Mother was calling, she pressed ignored. *Ring-Ring-Ring* She got annoyed a little bit, pressed ignored. *Ring-Ring-Ring-Ring* She looks at her phone, grabs it and answers. "WHAT!!!!" "Violet, what are you doing, you come home this instant!" replied her Mother. "No, I am not living in that place anymore!" "Violet, what did I do wrong? This is your home!" Her mother said with sadness in her voice. Violet just looked at the road and took a deep breath. "What you did is you married HIM!" Violet hangs up and throws her phone to the floor and tears started running down her cheeks, she tries to wipe to water from her face.

When she was done, she continues on the road, but out of no where a wolf jumps in the middle of the road. She screams and stops 4 inches from the wolf's body. She looks up from the wheel and sees if she hit the wolf, the wolf stood there and they both looked into one another eyes. Then a whole pack of wolves came out of the woods checked to see if the other wolf isn't harmed. When he wasn't harmed, all the wolves ears stood up and one wolf howled and ran, every wolf followed, but the last one kept looking at her for little bit and then ran after the pack. Violet just sat in her car quietly, still shocked, looking the way where the pack disappeared.

After an hour passed, she started to drive down the road and finally saw the sign saying Welcome to Lairsville. "Finally, I found it!" She was so relieved to find it and she decided to stop at the Diner to get something to eat. *Ding* As she walked in everyone stared at her. She makes it to the stool and sat down. "Hi, my name is Lily, What would you like, Sweetheart?" Asked the Waitress. Violet looks at the menu and said "I will have the bacon burger with everything on it, fries, and a water, please." The waitress looks at her, gives the order to the cook and said "You look like you had a long day?" Violet looks at her and repositions and replied "More like a long drive! How far away are we from the city?" The waitress looks at her funny and says "Really far away, like in the middle of nowhere......Why?" Violet looks down and said "Reasons!" "Mother or Father?" She looks at the waitress. "Excuse me!" "You are wanting to be very far away from someone, so Mother or Father?" Violet didn't say anything at first. "My mother, she remarried to a jerk and I had to get out of the house forever!"

Violet puts her hair in a ponytail and puts her bangs behind her ear. The waitress gave her food and Violet started to eat and one bite into the burger, she felt like she tasted heaven. "This is really good!" "Yep, we have the best chef in this town." "Then compliments to the chef for me!" The waitress smiled and turns to the kitchen and said "Poppy, you have another compliment!" He looks up and waves at Violet and she waves back. "You owe me $10, Cousin! That is 10 compliments." Said the cook and one of the customers stood up, walks to the kitchen and gives the cook the money. "Poppy!" "A bet I a bet, daughter!" Replied the cook and then kissed the money. Everyone started to laugh in the Diner and then a three guys walked in and the laughter turned to silence. Violet looked around and saw everyone looking at the guys. "Please don't stop, we are here to have something to eat." Said one of the guys, Violet looks at her food and started to eat some fries and the guy walks next to her. "Well, we have a new comer, guys!" And his friends started to smirk and nudge each other.

"What's your name?" Violet didn't answer and the guy looked down and up at her. "What's your name?" He said with some irritated tone in his voice. She didn't answer, she paid her bill and tried walking away, but his friends sat next and behind her. "My friend here asked you a question?" His friend looks her and put his hand on her thigh and started to move up, Violet slapped him and he touched his face, he raised his hand and came down, she braced for it, but nothing came down. She opened her eyes and a guy with blonde hair grabbed his wrist in mid air. "Now that is not how to treat a lady!" Said the guy and let go of his wrist. She looks behind him and met eyes with one person in the group, he looked away quickly and she had an odd look on her face.

The guy and his group grabbed the three guys and brought them outside. "You stay and get food for all of us, Cal!" Cal looks at his friend, and says "Daniel, I want to come with you guys!" "Enough, you stay and get food, that's an order!" Cal looks at the ground. "Yes sir!" Daniel walks out and Cal sits on a stool, two seats away from Violet. "The usual?" "Yep and to go!" "Okay!" The waitress walks to the kitchen. Violet and Cal were looking at each other and looking away. They did that for 30 minutes, Violet got up and sat next to Cal. "I'm Violet, I just got here!" She held her hand and Cal just looked away. "Okay, um could I at least have a name?" Cal looked at her and she slightly smiled, kept her hand out. "My name's......." "Here you go!" Said the waitress and gave him his order and Cal head out. Violet just sat there, before she got in her car, a little old lady grabbed her arm and said "You better lock your does and windows, it's not safe at night, even when you are alone." Violet looked at her and asked "What do you mean?" The little old lady was just about to say something, but a guy came up and said "Grandmother what are you doing? Sorry, she's just confused." He holds on to the lady and turns, then Violet looks at the last and she looked at her, then she just and went to her new home.

Before she went to bed, she heard howls outside and screeches that wasn't from a wolf, when she looked out the window, she only saw the woods and darkness, she then remembered the ladies warning and she started locking everything, all the Windows and all the doors. She looked out the window one more time and in the woods she saw the same wolf from earlier on the road and they started into each others eyes. Then she saw his ears go up and disappear in the darkness, Violet shook her head, turned off the lights and went to bed.
