Loving A Werewolf

Chapter 2:

It's Monday and Violet had alot of things to unpack and get her furniture moved in from the Garage. She walks in the Garage and turned on the light. The boxes and furniture looked like they could be a mountain. Violet took a deep breath and looked at the ground. All of the sudden, the door bell rang. *Ding-Dong-Ding-Dong* She walks towards the door and it was the group of guys from last night at the Diner. She opens the door. "Hi and Good Morning!" Remarked Daniel, Violet was squinting her eyes because of the sun. "Um, Hi!" She looks at all the guys behind him. "I'm Daniel, and you are..." He held his hand out and she looks at it for a minute, then shook it while saying "Violet, my name is Violet!" "Well, we just wanted to see how you were doing after last night, if you need any help moving everything in, everyone will be happy to help you out!" Said Daniel and Violet just looked around to see how many there were and she counted 12, including Daniel in the group. "Um, I may need help on moving furniture in, if that no problem for you guys?" Everyone laughed little and someone in the group said "We move things for a living!" That made everyone laugh and Violet finally saw the guy from last night. "I will try to pay you!" Daniel walks in and Violet stepped back little bit. "We don't do it for the money, we just help out as much as we can." Daniel was 2 feet away from her face and she just turned around and showed them the garage.

Daniel peeks his head in the garage door and remarked "This garage holds so much for such little room." Violet shook her head with agreement. If you happen to find my cooking tools, please bring them in the kitchen, I have to repay you somehow, with Lunch and Drinks?" Daniel looks at his group they smiled and mouthed (Yes) while pointing at Violet, Daniel looks at Cal if he agrees and he agreed. "That would be nice! Okay, boys lets be careful with the boxes, we will start the dinning room first and then the living room, Got It!" All the boys said "Yes, Sir!" Violet had an odd look, but just wiggled her way out of the group of guys, before she made it out, she felt a slight touch on her hand, but she didn't see who did it, so she continued onto the huge cooler that was filled with all her food, she unpacked the food and put them into the fridge.

She played music while they worked on moving everything in. "Here is your kitchen tools!" Replied one guys with three boxes saying kitchen. "Um, thank you and how can you hold all three of these,....." She waited for a name and he said "Tom!" "Tom, by the end of the day I will have all your names, except the really quiet one." She pointes at Cal and Tom smirked Yeah, he has trust issues with people, you not the only one half the town doesn't know his name." Violet leans in and asked "Do you know it?" Tom smirked again, "Yeah, but I think he should be the one to tell you and whoever earns his trust." Violet grunted, she started to find everything she needs to make lunch and started cooking.

It was lunch time and the Dinning room was all set for them all. Three of the boys came up to Violet and asked "Where are the plates and silverware?" Violet tried to reach the plates, but one of them got it and she behind the third boy showing where the silverware is, the second one helped Violet finished cooking. "I'm Grant!" Said the boy helping her finish up. "Nice to meet you, Grant!" They both shook hands and then started to carry the food over. "LUNCH TIME!" Yelled Violet for the boys in the garage to hear and they came in and sat down. "It smells really good! What is it?" Asked a Guy. "I will tell you after you guys tell me what your names are?" All of them shook their heads of understandable. Daniel pointed to each one saying their names, as they sat down. "This is Kevin!" Kevin winked at her, she blushed little bit "Hey!" Said Daniel, Everyone started laughing. "Jack and Tyler! The twins!" Both of them waved and she noticed they were the ones setting the table. "You now know Grant and Tom! They are the jokesters in the group!" "Hell, yeah we are!" Said Tom while nudging Grant and both started smiling. "Sam, Harry, Justin, Billy, Nick, Jones and he will tell when he wants to." Replied Daniel, pointing at Cal last, Violet looks at everyone and then looks at Cal.

They all sat at the table, some at the counter and Violet said "This is my Grandma's famous pasta salad with her secret sauce, green beans with chopped bacon and garlic sticks." Everyone smelt it and started eating. "Anyone want a drink?" "No, No, No, Violet, you sit down, me and Nick will get the drinks!" Replied Daniel. "It's fine, You guys worked more then me." Daniel got up, held her arm. "You cooked for us, you need a rest!" Daniel sat her next to Cal. "You guys moved furniture....." "Stop, Violet!" Said Daniel, Violet just sat there wanting to protest, but she just sat quietly. "We know our way around a kitchen!" Said Nick. Violet just looked at him and then looked at her plate and started to put food on it, then eating.

She felt a little awkward because her and Cal tried not to look at each other, but they always end up doing that. "Hey, Violet, there is going to be a bon fire five day from now! You should come with us!" Remarked Sam. "Um, I don't know, I'm not much of a bon fire kinda gal." She looks at Sam and then continued eating. "I dont believe that!" Said Cal. Everyone just looks at him with a surprised face and Violet was in mid eating her pasta. When she swallowed she asked "What do you mean?" "You look like the kind of girl that likes to go to anything party!" Replied Cal. "He speaks, Daniel!" Said Grant and Daniel just smirked. "Of course he does, just never thought he would warm up to a new comer!" Daniel gave Cal a look and he looks down. A few hours later, everything was moved in and everyone were in the living room laughing. *Ding-Dong* They looked at the door, Violet got up and opened the door. "I'm here for the boys!" "Um, okay and you are?" "It's okay, Violet, I will handle this!" Says Daniel and Violet walks towards the other boys.

A few minutes later, Daniel walks in with the man. "It's time to go, guys!" Everyone was starting to protest, but the man said a native language and they turned to Violet and one by one they hugged her, but Cal was long gone and they disappeared around the corner of the door and Daniel walked up and Violet said "Thanks for helping me move in!" "No problem and thank you for feeding us! Not alot of people do that!" Daniel hugged Violet and walked out. The man stood there and said "You stay away from my boys, they have enough things to do." He was just about to turn around, but noticed the necklace she was wearing. "Where did you get that?" Violet looked down at her necklace. "I found it in a creek when I was taking a hike!" "When?" "Um, two weeks ago." "Did you see anything else?" Violet looked at the man oddly and said "Why are you asking so many questions?" The man was quiet. Violet was getting annoyed. "Why are you still here? Go already!" She pushed the man out and shut the door.

"What was his deal?" She looks at the necklace, flips it around and lets go. "Just a necklace!" Then she heard howls. She ran to the back window, looked around and saw nothing, but the howls were still going on. "That is very odd, but really awesome!" She looked up and when she looked back down, the wolf was in the woods, looking at her and she started to smile. The wolf tilt his head and looked like he was smiling back.

A few minutes passed, his ears pikes up and moved his head and ran growling, Violet watched him run and she loves the way wolves run ever since she encountered them. Violet's phone rang, she jumped from the noise. She walks towards it, looks at the caller ID and it was her Mother. "She just doesn't give up!" She said out load to herself, she ignored it, grabbed a piece of paper and a pen, wrote down one number which was her best friend, Lilly, who helped her move far away from her mother and step father and reset her phone to change her number. She then texted Lilly explaining everything about changing her number and starting a new life in her new home. Lilly understood and made sure Violets' name was different, so if her mother visits, she wont be able to call her later.

"You really dont like you mother!" Said Lilly. "Well, she just watched him abuse me and never stopped him!" "I know, you told me and I wish I could be there with you." "Yeah, me too!" "So any one special yet!" Says Lilly and Violet just made an odd face. "Asking little to quickly on that, dont you think, Lilly?" "Yeah, but there has to be someone that caught your eye!" Violet gets shoes on, grabs her keys and went for a drive. "I dont know, so far I slapped a guy and then a group of like 12 guys came to my house, checking on me and helped me move in." "Wait, you had 12 guys at your house!" "Wow, Lilly, the only thing you hear is 12 guys, at least I know you haven't changed after what a week." Lilly started laughing on the phone and Violet began to laugh along.

She pulled up to a library. "Hey, Lilly I will call you back, I need to get a few books!" "Why?" "I'm doing reach on something you wont understand." "Your right, reach is your thing not mine!" Violet laughed and hanged up. She got of her car and walked into the library. *Ding* "Hello, Dearie, may I help you?" Asked the librarian. "Um where could I find a book about ancient jewelry and wolf packs?" Replied Violet and the librarian walks out from behind the counter and walks around, Violet followed her around the library and holding three books
