I Never Thought I Would Meet Him (ON HOLD)

Chapter 3

"I really don't know how to say this," he said. "I've always have had a hard time doing this."

"If you are gonna ask me to be your girlfriend, yes, I will be," I smiled. "Chase, you don't have to worry, I could tell you have been wanting to. Trust me, on our date, I wanted to hold you hand really badly, but I didn't."

"I had no clue how I was gonna ask. I'm glad you figured it out. And really?"

"Well, it was easy to figure out. And yeah."

"Was it really easy to figure out?"

"Yeah. But you were cute during that."

"Thanks. I just feel like I am rushing, since you just got out of a relationship."

"That wasn't really a relationship. We barely saw each other, or even talked, since I worked so much. The whole month I was down there, I only saw him, twice the night after I moved down there, and yesterday."

"Oh wow."

"Yeah he wasn't the best one out there. But in the two years together, we maybe saw each other once every other month, and talk like once a week if not every other week."

"That's sad."

"Only because he wouldn't put the effort in."

"Yeah, you deserve some one better, like me."

"And that's why I said yes to you."

"But, I didn't ask you properly."

"Really, that's what you're worried about."

"Yes. So, will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes Chase, I will be your girlfriend, and I wouldn't have it any other way."

"Okay! So are you excited for this weekend?"

"Yes! How could I not be?"

"True. Okay. Well remember that we leave around 6:30AM tomorrow. I'm gonna let you get some sleep, and I'm gonna go finish packing and go to bed. Night, darling."

"Night, Chase."

He walks out and leaves my door slightly cracked open. I walked over to the door and stuck my head out and saw chase walk into his room. I walked to the kitchen and got a glass of water.

"Kaylee?" Chase asked from his room.

"I'm just getting some water," I replied.

"Oh. Okay. Night."

"Night."

I walked back to my room and pulled out my phone and called Luke.

K: hey Luke!
L: hey Kay. Whatcha doin'?
K: getting ready to head out in the morning.
L: where are you going?
K: Darlington, South Carolina, with Chase. That's where NASCAR is this weekend. So what are you up to?
L: oh. Fun. I'm driving around since Jason has like 5 girls over, and I don't want to see them or listen to what they might do.
K: not an image I wanted, so thanks for that.
L: sorry... I'll have to let you know when I come up towards NC. Well have to get together.
K: yeah that sounds good. So I got a job already.
L: really? Where?
K: JRM. I'm gonna be cleaning at night, super simple, but it works for now, since I'm gonna be going to school.
L: that's good though.
K: yeah. I hope this works out.
L: I hope so too. Hey I have to go, my mom's calling me. I'll talk to you later. Love ya, short stack.
K: okay, tell her I say hi. Love ya too, Luke. Bye...
L: okay, I will. Bye.

I hung up and checked my emails, Facebook, and Twitter before I plugged my phone in. I got changed for bed and crawled in. I turned my music on and set my alarm for 5:30AM.

"I love you William Clyde. I won't let anyone come between us, no matter who it is. You are my number one guy, and will never be replaced. I don't want to loose you ever. You mean to much to me. I will allow you to have guy time for sure, but also have time for us. I love you," I whispered.

I couldn't get comfortable for the longest time, but finally after I rolled over a few times, I got comfortable and fell asleep.

-Chase's POV-

I finished my packing and changed for bed. I walked out into the hallway. I checked on Kaylee to make sure she was able to fall sleep, which she was sound asleep.

"Sleep well sweetheart. I'll see you in the morning," I whispered and lightly kissed her forehead.

I walked back out and put the door back to where it was. I went back to my room and crawled in. My phone started to ring so I answered it.

C: yes Ryan?
R: hey. What time are you heading out tomorrow?
C: right around 6:30AM. Why?
R: I was wondering, so that way we could maybe do something once we both get there.
C: Ryan... it would have to involve my girlfriend too. I can't trust her ex enough to let her really sit in the motorhome alone while we do something.
R: okay. That's fine... well Emma and Erin will be there, so she could alway go and hang out with them.
C: maybe. I don't know. I'll ask her in the morning. Well I'm gonna go and get some sleep.
R: okay. Bye
C: bye.

I hung up and checked Twitter before I plugged in my phone.

"I love you Kaylee Elizabeth. I know we haven't been together long, or known each other for long, I know we will stay together forever. I will never forget you, no matter what happens. I will always love you, through our fights, hard time, and the happy times. Right now you mean the world to me, and you always will. I love you," I said.

I couldn't stop think about her. Finally, I rolled over and fell asleep.

Hey guys! So here is chapter three! I'm gonna continue this book, and a couple of others, but I will stop one, "My Crazy Life" I'm just not happy with how it is going.
