Under the noon time's sun at the bar were two girls talking about this heartache. "Someone oncesaid, if you want something very badly, set it free. If it comesback to you, it's yours forever. If it doesn't, it was never yours tobegin with," Laira told to her red hair friend crying.
"But," Nikki wanted to explain but she can't just spill a word, and no one will even believeon what she experienced.
"If you want something very badly, set it free. If it comes back to you, it's yours forever," Laira repeated. "Its been three days friend. You just met him," she added.
"He's different as if we knew each other for a long time."
"I told that too to my 2 months ex-boyfriend."
Nikki swayed her head knowing that her friend will never understand this rare connection.
Laira noticed her friend'sreaction so she repeated again "if you want something very badly, set it free. If it comes back to you, it's yours forever."
Nikki picked up her stuffs, "I have to go. Thanks for advising me friend," she kissed Laira and left.
Step by step Nikki reminisces the time they met, the way she ran to find Sin, and the way he left.
"You don't need to come back Sin."
Nikki borrowed the motorcycle again and went to the barrack to see the machine Sin left.
Nothing existed but blood stains on the floor, half burnt papers, cigarette butts, and the notebook he's always carrying. With her curiousity she opened the note. Its a diary and its not just an ordinary diary, a time traveler's diary wherein the dates repeats and were almost not arranged. Page by page she turned and baffled about the words she's seeing.
According to my computation, in this timeline I can fix everything by stopping all the events to come. I just need to find this 'origin of values', a woman in red hair...
...its been a while, I met ablonde and we get each other's interests. I don't think she'll create a significant divergence value but she's slowing my pace of investigating this time plane...
...I'm losing focus to the'project reboot' and starting to fall inlove with someone else...
...I called her as my mistress as she knows I'm married. I also assumes that she knows the dark truth inside her head. This may create a large numerical value to the timeline...
...I'm getting late with the deadline. The time is getting nearer and nearer, and yet I still can't find this target...
...four days before the specified date my mistress dyed her hair red. At first I ignored it until I recounted the numbers. I am the significant value. Everything depends on me now...
...If all fails, 'projectlooped' is my last chance to have chances of chances again...
...Code: Moijel Lazym...
Nikki visualized the whole scenery, "we really knew each other," she mumbled. Her mind floated into countless and infinite versions of reality. By the moment she tied everything she recalls, even dreams, she freaked out and stumbled into the floor. The diary sundered and a picture fell, the blonde girl. "Its really me, this is how I looked like before I dyed my hair red almost a week ago."
Nikki can't swallow all the information she's comprehending right now. She left the barrack and headed to the field they used to gaze on the stars to breathe some fresh air.
Near the strucked knife on the ground she lied down. "From the start, I knew to myself that I know him... and even him, he knew me already countless time before," she summarized the whole event inside her head. "Project reboot...project looped," she think through figuring out what's happening to Sin and her 'significance' thing.
"He already left and died, he's not coming back," she said to herself while touching the knife's handle as she gazed into the clear blue sky.
Her voice suddenly shouted inside her mind as she thought of an idea, "he already came back for me!" She quickly stood up and rode the motorcycle going to the barrack.
When that time comes, you'll see me again, young and alive, living inside a warm body who's heart is still beating and mind still full of love and imaginations.
"I may not understand this but I have an idea," she gulped as she opened the machine's door.
Near the "witness' well" of the machine was written in blood: "The last page of my diary."
She picked up the filty notebook and read. She was shocked seeing the machine's basic manual of how to use it. Under the figures was a note: "Place my diary in the witness well. It's time origin will bring you to my home, our home." and a warning included, "you know your limits. Beware of the butterfly."
She carefully pondered the manual with hopes inside her heart.
"When connections are real, they simply never die. They can be buried, or ignored or walked away from, but never broken. If you've deeply resonated with another person or place, the connection remains despite any distance, time, situation, lack of presence, or circumstance. If you're doubtful then just try it -go and revisit.
If it was truly real, you'll be instantly swept back into the moment it was before if left -during the same year and place with the same wonder and hope, comfort and heartbeat.
Real connections live on forever." -quoted from Victoria Erickson
Without hesitation she placedt he diary to the witness well and prayed, "may the God of this universe guide us."
