Goodbye

Best friends

          "Hi" I said in return, "I'm tyler."
"I'm josh, nice to meet you." He said. The teacher introduced herself and told us we would have homework on the first day. She told us that the people next to us will have to become best friends and we would be a friendly class. I looked at josh and he looked at me. I looked back at the teacher and waited for class to end.

Class was over and second period started. I sat down at looked at everyone around me, josh coincidently sat next to me, so we had a chance to talk and get to know eachother. And as the classes went on I sat next o josh every time. It made me happy. Something I never am.

School finally ended and I started to skate board home because my mom had work. As I was skating I saw josh going the same direction as me. I stopped and popped my board and started walking with him. "Oh hey tyler." He said. "Uhh...mm...c-can I have your number?" I said very nervous. "Sure" he said with a smile. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and added his phone number. "Cool" I said. We kept walking and talking. we were by my street so I started walking towards it, josh stayed by my side the whole time. I was wondering what he was doing, I can walk by myself and yet he stayed by me. He looked confused too. I finally came up to my house and looked at josh. He looked weirded out. " I that where you live?" He asks. "Yeah, why?" I say. " I live next door" he says as he starts walking towards his door. " um...wanna come to my house?" I say to josh. He smiles and says "sure" he walks to my front door and looks at me and walks in with me. "Hey, who's this?" Mom said with a smile. "Oh...that's josh, my friend...." I say as I start to walk upstairs with josh by my side. We go into my bedroom and sit down on my two bean bags. "So..." I said to josh. "Nice house" he says. "Thanks" I said awkwardly. "Ummmmm...... Wanna play mario kart?" "Duh" he says with a big smile. We sat in my bed and grabbed the controllers. "I'm cold." Josh says. "Me too." I replied as I pulled up the blanket and got closer to him. "Better?" I said "perfect" he replys staring deeply into my eyes. And we continued playing.
