Summary of previous chapter: Karma and Isuju broke up and decided to stay as friends. Asano noticed Isuju walking alone after that and decided to bring her somewhere

this is long overdue

---

The duo sat on the sand, staring at the ships in the far horizon. Isuju broke whatever twigs and branches she could find on the sand around her, folding them multiple times while keeping quiet.

"I brought you to this place for a reason," Asano irked at the sound of the snapping twigs," and not to break branches, do that and I'll break your organs."

"My heart is already broken you bastard," she coughed and muffled her voice in her arms as she hugged her knees.

"Oh I heard that," he pushed her, making her fall over onto the sand.

"Fish you," she glared at him as soon as she got up.

"Thank you," Asano smiled on purpose, mainly to irritate her," I love fishes."

"Well let's see how much you love them once that sucker is shoved up your as-"

She was then cut off by Asano's hand slapping over her mouth.

He glared at her, telling her not to swear. Isuju pushed his hand away irritatedly, now she was wondering whether he was comforting her or just pissing her off.

"Excuse me, are you trying to make me happy?" Isuju questioned before a veined appeared on her forehead," because clearly, you are doing an extremely horrible job."

Asano smiled to himself, now happy that she was happier than she was before.

"Well to be honest I wouldn't shove the fish up there anyway," Isuju said as she rested her chin on her hand," it'll be considered animal abuse, both for the fish and yo-"

"You really know how to piss a guy off don't you," he gritted his teeth as he spoke, stiffening his jaw.

"God's gift for me," Isuju gave him a sarcastic smile," I'm blessed with a beautiful talent."

She then changed the subject, asking him why he had brought her there. She looked at the scenery, but did not appreciate it one bit.

"Can't you see for yourself? Don't you have eyes to look?" Asano said, gesturing at the sea and the sky.

She buried her eyes in her arms, looking down," yea I'm blind."

Isuju then felt a strong yank on her collar, pulling her head up.

"Oi-"

Before she could make a comment about his actions, he cut her off.

"If you can't see the scenery then freaking feel it. Not only your eyes are needed to enjoy a stupid view," His words had determination, he said it sincerely and strongly.

She closed her eyes as she felt a gentle sea breeze brushing against her skin, blowing the straying strands off her white hair. The waves washed in and out off the beach, leaving behind some white bubbles every time it receded.
