Death Of A Clanmate
A death in your clan is almost never a good thing. Especially if that cat had important role. Elders are the ones who bury the deceased, but you as a medicine cat still have a role in helping.
1.) Make sure you give the right herbs to the elders. Meaning rosemary or mint. You do not want the scent of death to attract predators or pull attention to other clans.
2.) Be there for any cats in mourning. Maybe this cat was close to them. The death of someone who has been there for you is something hard to take. Thyme calms distress, but be the cat they can reach out to and don't simply rely ob herbs.
3.) If the leader has died, make sure you have the preparations to travel for the deputy's nine lives. You may be in mourning as well, but you cannot let it get in the way of your duty.
