Snowflakes settled atop of my eyelashes, face freezing, my feet sinking deep into the snow. The sky pitch black aside from the handful of stars illuminating the land before me. Everything here reminds me of you,the stars would never match the twinkle in your eyes. I can almost reach out to grab you, my hand slips. The cold, it's getting to me, I need to feel your warmth, before I freeze out. I could almost feel you, breathing down my neck, eyes piercing right into my soul. I spoke less than a hundred words with you, when I knew you were the one. The one that I almost caught hold of, the one radiating heat, the one I longed for, even in my dreams. I looked up at the darkness,feeling,letting it consume me whole. Feeling so small under the never skies, I finally saw you. The snow melting away under your feet, I could feel the trembles in the ground as you hovered above. I've waited for this moment for too long. All I could feel was your heat, slowly defrosting me inside out.
