Golden Boy

The heavens opened and brought you straight to me.

Desperate, numbing kisses pressed upon our lips. Your stronghold chaining us together, no space for even air between us, making me breathless was your speciality. Your breath against my skin, begging me for more. Exasperated by you, unable to breathe from your choking hold upon me. Your eyes piercing deep into my soul, hands wrapped around mine. Forcing your lips against my neck, my back, driving me wild. 

Desperate for more, my heart shatters watching your silhouette disappear into the darkness. Every parting look you give me, every "goodbye" frightens me. Not knowing what will happen if you stray from me. Perhaps I'll crumble, I'll fall apart without you, I'll never be able to love again, never be able to let someone, anyone in. I'll never be able to feel the joy I felt with you by my side, with you I felt whole.
