~Chase's POV~
All of us were in the middle of sparring when Mr. Davenport walked in. "Guys, I need to talk to you." He said seriously. "Now."
I flipped Milton and we walked over to him. "We have a serious situation. A power cord got loose and is swinging everywhere in downtown Seaford. It could electrocute people. You guys need to go and fix it."
"Our first Seaford Mission!" I said excitedly. "Now, as mission leader, I'm going to devise a brilliant plan to fix this power cord."
"I get to go on a mission?" Leo said, excitedly.
"No," Mr Davenport responded. "You would just get in the way."
"True," Leo said.
All of us started to walk out of the dojo. "Hey, where are you guys going?" Jack asked.
"Um, we have," I started to say.
"Doctors appointments, " Bree interrupted. "Yeah that's what we have. We need to go to doctors appointments that are completely and totally real. Gotta go." We all ran out of the dojo, got our gear from the penthouse we were staying in, and went to downtown Seaford.
"All right," I said, taking charge. "Bree, super speed down and up the whole road to see if anyone is hurt. Adam, climb up the pole so you can attach the power cord back to where it belongs. I'll stabilize the cord." Adam and Bree ran off to do their jobs and I began to stabilize the cord. We fixed the cord and then Bree super speeded us back to the dojo.
"Those were really short doctors appointments," Kim said.
"Just a monthly check up?" I tried to hide the nervousness in my voice.
"Right," Kim said, but she didn't push it.
We got back to practice.
