Finding love in war

Almost caught.

Steve and Wanda had been at the cabin site for three days now and were having fun. They told the others that they had a week long mission and to not contact them, only Natasha knew were they were.  Steve had been with Wanda for a little less than seven months now. It was the happiest he had been.

Wanda wasn't the one people call a morning person but for some reason she was up before Steve. It was seven thirty in the morning when she awoke and put on one of Steve oversized shirts and walked to the kitchen. She started making eggs, bacon and orange juice. She lifted the last egg when Steve clears his throat seeing her and she lost focus, making her hexes let go of the egg. It made a mess on the floor. Wanda sighed. "You made me drop it Steve, you clean it up." She said smiling. Steve smiled himself "yes my lady." He said and started cleaning it up. After he finished, Wanda served Steve and put the plate on the table. He kissed her softy. "Thank you." He said "you're welcome." Wanda    Said. She say next to him and started eating. Steve watched her a little. It caused her to blush and smiled brightly. Soon they finished and Wanda walked to the couch. Steve followed her and picked her up causing her to let out a squeal before she was sitting on the lap of her love. He kissed her cheek and  Wanda turned the tv on. They saw that not too far away from them a shield quinjet landed. Shield had gone there to investigate one of shields task force of agents.

Nick fury was with them. It was a big deal if fury had to go. Steve told Wanda to go get changed and she did so. Steve got changed himself. Shield saw the cabin and went to it. Steve hid their stuff and cleaned up the place to make it look like they had just gotten to their themselves. Fury knocked on the door and Steve answered "fury" he said. "Captain Rogers, I didn't know you were here." He said and Wanda walked out next to Steve. "Yes sir, me and Wanda were sent here to help with the situation." He said. Fury fave them a stare before walking away from the door and the couple followed him. Fury told them what was happening. A task force was supposed to infiltrate a warehouse were a man named xethor had a bomb that was capable of destroying half of New York was being built. The team wasn't responding and weren't able to be located.  Steve and Wanda nodded and walked to the cabin. Steve sighed "even on vacation we can't get a break." Wanda said and turned to Steve. "I know and I'm sorry." He said "it's not your fault." She said. "We don't have any of our gear." Steve said and Wanda grunted. "How about we don't do the mission." Steve looked at Wanda after hearing her say that. "Fury already knows we're here. We have to help." She sighed. "I'll help, you please stay here." Wanda said "why?" Steve asked. "...it has only been a couple of months since you were in the hospital...i don't want you in one again." She said. Steve sighed "Wanda, it's a part of this job, we get hurt." He said "but I can't see your hurt again...after losing him, I can't lose you too." Steve held Wanda who was now tearing up. He kissed her head "you won't lose me...you won't." He said. "We have to help, but I'll be careful" he said. He kissed her gently. Steve and Wanda walked to fury and got ready.
