Chloe’s POV

I stepped out of the limo and looked around. In front of me stood a large house, with big white pillars and large windows. The driveway had been huge. We must be miles away from the main road. Or any other houses for that matter, all there was in sight were rolling green hills.

The limo pulled away, done with its job. The owner of the mansion had sent it to pick me up. I walked up to the mansion door, but right before I could ring the doorbell, a man opened it up.

“Good evening ma’am” He said, stepping aside for me to come in.

I walked into the mansion, and was greeted by glistening ceramic floors and a beautiful fireplace in the middle of the back wall. I turned to ask the man why I was here, as the invitation hadn’t said. But he was gone. I turned back towards the fireplace and saw an open door. I heard music playing from inside the room. I took a few cautious steps closer and heard laughter emerging from the room. The laughter sounded so familiar. I stepped inside the doorframe and looked into the room.

“Chloe!” a girl ran towards me and wrapped her arms around me. “I knew you would be here I just knew it!”

The girl stopped hugging me and took a step back. Then I saw it. “Oh Nia!” I said and then gave her a hug. I looked around the rest of the room they were all here; Maddie, Mackenzie, Brooke, Paige, Payton, and Kendall. “Oh I haven’t seen any of you in so long!” I said with a smile, happy to finally be able to catch up with everyone.

I was talking to Mackenzie, asking her about how her career in the movie business was going when I was interrupted.

“Guys! Look!” Brooke was pointing at something by me.

There was smoke coming out of the small chimney I was standing next to. Suddenly, there was a thud, and a human body fall out of the chimney. There was a scream coming from behind me as I walked closer to the body, trying to inspect it. “Oh my gosh, guys you better take a look at this.” I said, waving the other girls over. Mackenzie gasped next to me and Paige let out a cry.

Lying in the bottom of the chimney, was a body. And a dead one at that.
