Maddie’s POV

Abby Lee. Dead. She was everything to me, she was my life when I was a kid. She supported me and pushed me to be the best I could be. I wish that before she died, I could say sorry for the things I said to her.

**FLASHBACK**

“Those little snakes have ruined you! Look what has happened to you! Everyone else has gotten fabulous jobs and spectacular jobs! After I set up in LA you stopped winning! You let Chloe and Kendall push you into the dust!”

“They are my friends! And I will always back them up before I back up a selfish pig like you! I don’t know why I was ever eager to please you! All you did was tear down all my friends to make me a star! I realize now how wrong that was and I will never let you live it down! You controlled my childhood, so why should I let you control my life now?”

I stormed out of the studio, tears streaming down my face. I walked briskly to my car and got in, while I was driving away, I passed the front door. I saw Ms. Abby crying. On an impulse, I shouted out my car window. “Save those tears for the pillow!”

**END OF FLASHBACK**

Now she was dead. Just like that. I guess you can call it just really severe karma. Ms. Abby deserved to be punished but not this cruelly. The man speaking caught my attention.

“You have been brought here by your killer” He said. That’s funny none of us our dead yet, except of course for poor Ms. Abby lying dead in the bottom of a chimney. The man continued to talk.

“Your killer has written a letter to you that he would like me to read. But I must warn you, you will not like what it says. “

Dear Mortals,

Welcome to my home. As you can see, someone has already crashed your party. What a shame. Anyway, I am sure you will enjoy your stay here, granted for most of you it won’t be a long one. Let me explain some ground rules of my house.

Rule 1 No one leaves, no one enters. All of you are now my prisoners, of course you are allowed early dismissal, but the side effects are… deadly.

Rule 2 Every morning, there will be one less of you here with us. The surviving guests job is to figure out how I killed the unfortunate guest.

Rule 3 You must follow any rules my assistant gives you, and he already understands his commands well

Have fun mortals, and dare I say it, good luck.

Signed, Your Killer

“As you can see, this killer does not mess around. And in fact, I have another instruction for you. Your killer would like to inform you that we will be having a challenge to see you can solve the unfortunate murder of this poor, poor woman.”

I looked over at the fireplace only to discover the body was gone!

“Uh… Sir. Where in the world did she go?” I asked. All of the other girls looked towards the fireplace, shock spreading over their faces once they realized what I meant.

“Oh. The maids have already transported her to the morgue.”

“I wonder how they moved her.” Payton muttered under her breath Brooke let out a snicker.

“Yes well, my maids have their own dirty secrets just as everyone does.” the man said. “Anyway, you are all allowed to go to one of three places. The morgue, to inspect the body, the crime scene, which you are standing in, and the last known where abouts, which in this case will be the dining room.”

“Oh how fitting.” Payton said. Another snicker from Brooke.

“Yes, well you have 5 minutes to choose. I will be back to find out your decisions.”
