Chapter 30- Healing Part 2

It's been about a month since Nestan went to jail, but the nigga won't leave me alone. He sends me letter after letter to just come see him. Everybody telling me to go see him to get some closure. But just seeing his face makes me emotional and I'm not trying to be that. I talked to Murphy about it and he said I should do it. He was telling me about how his life was after what happened. He saying his world was shattered because two weeks after that his grandparents died in an accident. He was telling me his best friend killed himself because he was also in an abusive relationship. But he through all that he managed to somehow keep going. I told him my story and how pain is the reason I'm standing today.

I decided I would go see Nestan. I do need that closure I need it to move on in life. James and Murphy are going with me. I low key think Murphy is feeling James. They really be flirting and think I don't know about it. We are all in the car heading towards the jail. We were getting closer and closer and I was getting more and more nervous. I don't know if I can handle it but I'm going to try. I see we are pulling up and I started to remember that day.The image started to comeback I want to cry but I got to be strong. I get a text on my phone and I see it is from Franklin. He is really a genuine guy. He really has became a good friend to me. I texted him back and got out the car. They recognized me as soon as I got out the car. I had to run in the building to avoid the crowd. I checked in and they took me back to a room where I waited for them to get Nestan. He walked in the room and I got nervous.

He said " Hey Ahany"
I said " Hey "
He said " I know this was a lot for you to be here face to face with me. I just wanted you to know that I'm sorry. I should have never did what I did to you. You shouldn't blame your self. I made the mistake of thinking I can control you or tell you what to do. I'm sorry that I ruined your life." He had tears in his eyes.
I said " I forgive you ." I had tears in my eyes. That was the last thing that I said before I got up and walked away.

I felt a sense of relief now that I can say I forgive him. I wiped my tears and met back up with James and Murphy. They was all hugged up when I walked up to them. They were both blushing when they seen it was me.

I said " Okay how about we double date so y'all can make sure that he right for me."
James said " You know I'm with that because ain't nobody about to hurt my brother again. I be damned if another nigga take advantage of you because I would kill the nigga."
I said " See and you said I was the crazy one."

I texted Franklin and asked him do he want to go on a double date with me. He texted back real quick. We all decided we would go to Journeys and then go bowling. We were meeting up at eight. I had to go home and at least trying and get cute. Now that the scars healed and the cast is off my arm I'm not so insecure about my body. I checked my phone seeing that my people were asking when my next single and album coming out. I'm hit the studio up tomorrow so I can finish it and it and give the people what they want. I walked down the stairs and went to James room to see if he was ready. He was walking out so we headed to the door.

He said " You think you ready to date again?"
I said " No but I got to try and he seems like a good guy for me."
He said " I'm glad you have that attitude."

We walked out the house and headed to the restaurant. We stop at the flower store because James wanted to get Murphy some flowers. We pulled up at the restaurant and I seen the paparazzi and Murphy. I was wondering where Franklin was until we got into the restaurant and I seen that he was standing in the doorway with flowers and a big bear. He smiled a big smile and looked at me like I was an angel. I smiled and hoped that this relationship will be different. We sat down and got to eating.

About An Hour Later

We all left and went to Woodland Bowl so we can bowl. We got in and Franklin and James payed for two games. Franklin got my ball and my shoes. He was really treating me really special and it's different for me. I got up to roll and rolled a strike. They all was telling me to sit down. We end the first came and Franklin won. The second game was a tie between me and Murphy. We got done and went back to my house to relax and watch movies. I layed on my head on Franklin lap. He was just playing in my hair. We all fell asleep watching the movie.
