Nirvana

*Matt's POV*

So today is Aly and Nash's birthday. I have a big surprise for Aly but I need LOX to occupy her and Nash is going to be doing stuff with the boys all day.

I think LOX and Aly went shopping so I went to prepare for tonight.

*LOX's POV*

So I'm keeping Aly occupied and I though it would be a good idea to go shopping and get her a nice outfit for tonight.

We went into a bunch of stores and bought a bunch of stuff. I bough some stuff for her too using her birthday as an excuse.

Finally we got to this weird store I've never seen and found the perfect outfit for her. Secretively I bought it and went over to her looking at the jewelry.

"Ready to go?" I asked. It was getting a little late and she agreed.

We went back to the hotel and dropped our stuff off in our room.

"Okay. Now I can't explain or tell you anything but I need to get you all prettied up for tonight. Go get in the shower and I got everything else" I told her and pushed her to the bathroom.

I put a bra and underwear in the bathroom for when she gets out and took off my pants, turning on the music, and getting to work.

I pulled out the outfit I bought today and then got some black tights with brown boots. (outfit above without the backpack)

Then I plugged in the straightener and blow drier.

When I was grabbing my makeup she got out of the shower and waited for me.

"Okay time to work" I said and started blow drying her hair. After that I was straightening her hair which she didn't make easy because she was dancing around and I was trying not to burn her.

"I'm gonna do makeup but don't worry I'll just do mascara" I told her and she okayed it.

We had half an hour until Matt was going to pick her up so we had a mini dance party jamming to the music.

"Alright time to get dressed. Your outfits on the bed" I told her.

"When did you get this? It's so cute" She asked putting it on.

"At that weird old store today" I smiled.

There was a knock on the door.

"You look perfect. Go get em' tiger" I told her leaving to the bedroom to wait for them to leave. Once I hear the door close I got comfy and started watching netflix.

*Aly's POV*

After Matt picked me up we took a taxi to wherever and he wouldn't tell me what was going on. What's up with that?

We talked for a bit and then the taxi stopped. When I looked out I saw we were at this fancy restaurant that's by the beach.

Matt took my hand and we walked in. I saw that it was an italian restaurant.

The waiter came and took our drink orders and then left.

"Happy birthday princess" Matt said.

"Thank you Matty. I love you" I told him.

"I love you too" he told me smiling.

The waiter came with our drinks and then we ordered. I got the shrimp scampi while matt got the tortellini.

After a while of small talk our food came out and it looked delicious. We mostly ate in silence and then payed and walked out hand in hand.

He was walking towards the beach and I followed him taking off my shoes and holding them with my free hand.

We walked for a while and then turned up onto this path. The sun had set while we were walking so it was kind of dark out now.

The path was lit with little fairy lights though and I knew Matt planned this.

We came to the end and there was a little circle enclosed with a kind of criss cross fence that had vines growing all over it making it look really pretty.

Matt took my hands and started talking.

"Aly we have known eachother for a long time yet haven't been on many dates. That's okay though because we spend pretty much all of our time together" he laughed and so did I "but in this time. I got to know you. Even more importantly I became to love you. Everything about you. From your past of being a rebel to how you are now, the sweetest girl I know. From your laugh to your eyes to the way your smile forms when you're trying not to but fail because you can't help but be happy. I know you like we've known eachother our whole lives but it's only been about a year. Even though we weren't in eachothers childhood I want you to be in my future and I want to be in yours. So" he got down on one knee and I got scared. "This is a promise ring. It means that I will love you forever, even after I die. And it means that one day, we will get married and spend the rest of our lives together" I had tears streaming down my face by now.

"Yes. I love you Matthew" I said pulling him up and he put the ring on my finger.

He kissed me and I was in nirvana. He makes me the happiest person alive and I couldn't ask for anything more.

He led me back down the pathway and took me to a blanket laying in the sand and we sat down looking up at the stars.

For each star I was naming something I loved about Matthew. I could probably name all of them if I had enough time. But soon it was time to leave and go back to the hotel.

I can honestly say this was the best birthday I've ever had and there is no will it could be topped.
