Chapter 7 - The Ball

GETTING READY

"Saber do I look pretty?, I look like a princess" giggled Sliver who was spinning around showing off her dress.

Shes was wearing a nice white dress, it had little diamonds all over it and some patterning around the waist, the bottom of the dress was silk and over the soft smooth silk was just the right amount of netting, with the same little diamonds on it. 

Her silver hair was in cute little pig tails with white ribbon to hold them in place, she was wearing a little tiara that sparkled in the light. On her legs she wore long white socks with posh white shoes to go with her lovely dress. Silver didn't have any make up on just a bit of lip gloss to make her lips shiny. 

Saber laughed and said, "you are a princess Sliver but your going to make all the girls jealous of how amassing you look" while putting on her boots. Sliver stopped spinning around and shook her head, "nope I think that's going to be you Saber. You look amassing", making Saber blush.

Saber was worried about her ears and tail being on display but when she looked in the mirror she looked beautiful.

She was wearing a black and purple dress. The top of it was purple covered in purple sequins and some were even going down her dress but stopped to where her knees were. In the middle of it were diamonds, kinda shaped like a star. The bottom of the dress was pure purple silk and on top of the silk was black netting, it didn't give it a really horrible gothic look like you can get, but just the right amount of black to make it look beautiful but also adding a little gothic style to it.

Saber was wearing black socks with purple with black plastic diamonds on the heals Doc Marten boots. Her hair were in curls and she like Silver was wearing a little tiara that also shined and showed off her green eyes. Saber made her eyes have the smoky affect and was wearing light pink lipstick to show off her lips. 

Dawn came in wearing a dark blue dress. The dress was like what Bell wore in "Beauty and the Best" but it had diamonds where the waves met, down the middle of it where diamonds and there was diamonds around her waist.

She was wearing her favourite black high heals and she had her Queen crown on her head. Her hair was Beautifully straight and she had red lipstick on with just the right amount of eye shadow and mascara. "Are you 2 finished getting ready? And ready to go to the ball? " ,both of the girls nodded excitedly, noticing there Mama expecting them carefully, Dawn smiled a sign of approval and announced, "OK then lets get to the ball".

THE BALL

Saber was stood next to Eloy greeting guests and they entered the ball room. All of Sabers friends where hear as well, Alex, Abby and Eddie. She remembered them giving her an ear full when she told them what happened when she was sick, and she vowed in front of them to never do that again. That memory alone brought a bigger smile on her face as she continued greeting guest after guest. 

After greeting all the guests Lazarus announced, "Ladies and Gentleman let the feast begin", after he finished his sentence the guests who were standing up sat down at there tables, while the waiters were coming out with all different types of foods.

Saber watched in excitement as the food was placed down on The Royal table. She sat next to Eloy who was politely filling up his plate with food, Saber watched in going next to some small black circular things. "Hey Eloy what is that you putting on your plate?" she asked white watching him putting the black stuff on his plate.

Eloy smiled at her and answered "Its called caviar Saber fish eggs". Saber looked at him with a black expression, "fish eggs?" she thought and now wished she hadn't asked. 

Saber finished her food and took a drink of her juice. The vampires had blood in there wine glasses, while everyone else ether had champagne, juice or water. Lazarus and Dawn got up together as slow music started to play. She smiled watching her Papa and Mama dance together like the loving couple they are, and giggled as Sliver grabbed Eloy's hand and beamed "come on Eloy were gonna have a dance".

Saber was brought out of her day dream when she saw Alex stand in front of her. He smiled at her and bowed sticking out his hand, asking in a bad post British accent "may I have this dance my lady". Saber giggled at her friend but replied in the same accent, "i would be delighted sir" taking his hand as he led her to the dance floor. 

She waves at Abby and Eddie who were also having a dance together. However she sour Alex smile turn into a frown, "whats wrong?". Alex looked down and her and whispered in her saber ears, "Mandy is here and she hasn't stopped staring at me, its creeping me out" Saber turned her head slightly and he was right Mandy was sitting on the table staring at him. Saber giggled and whispered back, "someone still loves you" in a teasing tone.

Alex laughed and winked at Saber muttering "I know but I don't love her anymore". 

After some more dancing Eloy was standing in the middle of the room, while Lazarus announced, "now Ladies and Gentleman my son will see if anyone in this room is his beloved mate and will be the new Q-"

Before he could finish the doors opened and 4 people walked into the ball room, a man, a woman, a girl and a boy.

They all bowed in respect and the man spoke in a rough voice, "Our apologies for being late My King" .....
