Author's note:
I am so so sorry it took me almost a week to write another chapter. I find that unacceptable! I hit a writers block and was combing through decisions. Not to mention I was thrown off by a horse and I've been recovering from that... but hey I'm almost all better now, besides a bunch of bruises on my legs, so I'll be here as often as I can... only depending on my work schedule.

~~

Tyler and I both sat in our trucks and he listened to me tell him all about my road trip.

I didn't bother writing a journal entry about the town I visited in Kentucky. It was really nothing to talk about. Yes I know Kentucky is a huge horse filled state but it didn't appeal to me. The only part of it that I saw were huge upscale barns and huge mansion-like houses. I didn't like it all; I felt closed in and extremely uncomfortable.

"I'm more of a country girl not a city type." I continued to tell him.

He sat there and just kept nodding whenever I would pause. I love how he did that though. It reassured me that he was actually interested in listening to me talk.

Every once in a while I would meet glances with his amazingly vibrant blue eyes and had to try not to smile. I've always had a thing for blue eyes.

I got to the part about Mississippi but I left out the part about meeting the overly-flirtatious Levi. Is it weird that I actually miss him? And continued on about working at that farm just to earn money to continue travelling.

"I had stopped here just because I could feel myself getting tired. I was going to check out in the morning because it is on the more expensive side. Unless I can find a place that needs a helping hand for a few weeks." I told him.

That's when he chimed in. "I actually know of a dairy farm that needs people on the night watch since it's calving season."

Me: "What would you do there?"

Tyler: "Very simple and easy actually. Five hour shifts a night at $8 bucks an hour. You sit in the dairy barn and watch for mothers to go into labor. You ring a doorbell like device that chimes into the farm owner's house and they come and assist the mother in giving birth."

Me: "I wouldn't have to help or anything, would I?"

Tyler: "Not unless the other farm hand, that lives in the house, can't make it outside in time."

Me: "Oh so that sounds easy enough."

Tyler: "If you'd like I can bring you by the farm today to meet the owners."

Me: "That sounds like a good idea, then I wouldn't have to check out of here today."

He nods before saying. "I don't know about you but I'm really hungry. Would you like to join me for breakfast?"

I smiled at how smooth he was being.

Tyler: "What?"

Me: "Oh nothing. But yes I could definitely take you up on that offer."

Tyler: "My treat then we can go to the farm after."

Me: "What no come on are you sure?"

Tyler: "Yes I'm sure. You can either hop into my truck or follow me, your choice."

Me: "I'll just go with you, I'm getting a little bit sick of driving."

He smiled at me and offered an arm as I jumped down from my truck and all the way up into his.

I let out a big sigh once I got seated. And he looked at me questioningly.

Me: "What? You almost need a double step bar. Like good lord I'm not a gymnast."

He smiled at my sarcasm and started his truck.

--

He drove for about a half an hour and we finally pulled into an iHop parking lot. I guess I got this shocked look on my face.

Tyler: "Wow what's that look for?"

Me: "What look? If anything it was excitement.. you have no idea how sick I am of small town restaurants. That's all I've eaten my whole trip."

Now was his time to look surprised. "That would be heaven."

I laughed at him and just as I opened the door on my side of his truck he grabbed my arm, lightly.

Tyler: "Remember to bend your knees before you land. It's a pretty high jump and trust me I've learned that the hard way."

I laughed again and jumped down after following his warnings.

--

We ate and got back into his truck to head to the dairy farm. As soon as we got close I could smell it. I wrinkled my nose out of instinct.

He broke out laughing. "If I didn't know any better I'd call you a prissy city girl."

I glared at him. "No I just didn't realize how much worse cows smell compared to horses."

Tyler: "No horses definitely smell worse."

Now is my turn to laugh. "But you're not the one that just offered to spend the night in the barn that you're not used to smelling so gross!"

Tyler: "Yeah that it is funny isn't it?"

I rolled my eyes at him.

Tyler: "God you ladies and your attitudes."

Me: "Huh?"

Tyler: "You heard me. I ain't ever met a woman that doesn't roll her eyes."

Me: "Why is there a problem with that?"

Tyler: "No I just find it funny."

Me: "Ohh." I dragged out the syllables relieved at his answer.
