'Hazel, Hazel is that you?'
What time was it and who was calling my name? My head was hurting and I really wasn't in the mood.
'Piss off, I'm tired,' I called out while covering my head with my arms as if it would shield the world from my sleeping form.
'Hazel, get up!' Unlike the fist time the voice came out demanding and a little bit scary, so I did as I was told. I woke up, shivering, in the dark of the night. Where was I? I was propped up on my arms and my eyes were slits as I prepared myself to get up.
Once I realised I was in an unfamiliar surrounding my eyes snapped open, waking me instantly. Just then I realised that sharp stones were pinching the skin on my hands and a cool wind whistled by. I was in the middle of an eerie street and all but one street lamp had been taken out.
My eyes looked up towards the voice that had found me. Looking back at me with angry eyes was Aaron, the school's 'bad boy' as he was titled. His eyes seemed to deepen in anger when I'd flinched at his presence. What had I done wrong? I'm not the one shouting here.
'What the hell are you doing here?! Sleeping?!' He snapped.
'Where the hell am I?' I shot back with just as much anger as he had, completely ignoring his question. I rubbed my head as pain shot through my temples. What happened?
'What do you mean "Where the hell am I?" You get lost in one of the roughest areas around and you don't even know it?' He put on a stupid voice while imitating me and his eyebrows shot up in an incredulous look.
'I don't even remember leaving the house, never mind how I got here.' My voice sounded distant and my head felt heavy. I'd managed to pick myself up off the floor into standing position, but my body began to sway. Soon I felt my body hit a hard surface and my eyes shut almost immediately from the weight of my eyelids. Not again.

This was the second time I'd woke up in a strange place, but at least this time I had a warm blanket. I snuggled closer to the warmth before opening my eyes with a sigh. This made a nice change from the street. A soft sent of cologne filled my nose making me sigh again.
'Are you finally awake?' A voice said, making me jump. I turned my head slowly to find Aaron again looking at me angrily. I then looked around me to find I was in a double bed with blue sheets that, at least, looked clean. I let my eyes study the room finding boxing gloves and wraps on one wall and two other walls occupied a door each.
'Umm, where am I?' I asked in a small voice because of my dry throat.
'My room and now that you're awake you can tell me where you live so I can take you there,' he snapped out making me shrink back at his tone. He didn't have to be so damn snappy.
'Oh, yeah, s-sorry,' I stumbled, getting out of the bed clumsily. I re-made the bed while reciting my address to Aaron, happy to see I was still in my clothes from the day before.
When we were in his transit van - luckily we didn't use his motorbike he was notorious for - I started to thank him.
'So, yeah thank you for helping me yesterd-' I didn't get to finish my sentence before he cut in.
'As far as you're concerned we didn't see each other yesterday, I never helped you and we still don't talk to each other, got it?'
Gezz what was this guy's problem? 'Wow, sorry, I only wanted to thank you and here's fine,' I said pointing to the side of the road when we were still about a 15 minute walk away. I hadn't done anything to get this treatment and if I had to stay and take this bullshit any longer, I'd probably snap.
'Don't be stupid,' Aaron said. 'You can't get out here, I might have to save your sorry ass again.'
That just annoyed me more and when we stopped at a red light I got out slamming the door behind me. I made sure he got a clear view of my middle finger before his body shook with silent laughter from inside his van and I made my way home.
I was still wondering what had happened while I walked in the freezing cold. Where was I when Aaron had first found me and how did I get there? I pushed through the door that belonged to me and my older brother only to be embraced in a big bear hug.
'Oh my gosh, I'm soo sorry Hazel.' My brother's eyes held a look of guilt and suddenly I realised why.
'Sam what did you do?' I was really concerned now while I eyed my brother, he was always getting into trouble.
'I'll make it right, I swear!' He promised, his eyes squeezed shut and his hand together in a praying position.
'Sam?'
'Okay, Okay. I might have got you kidnapped by a group of people who don't really like me but don't worry because Cameron has agreed to watch over you,' he said with a smile.
I sighed heavily. I think I was more bothered about Cameron - or Jimmy as we normally called him -looking over me than being kidnapped by a gang. Sam came towards me feeling my cheeks with the back of his hands.
'Why are you so cold. Go and warm up quickly, we don't want you catching anything do we?' He ruffled my hair lightly before I huffed to my room and started the shower before getting in to relax my stiff muscles. He didn't want me catching a cold but he still got me thrown on a street in the middle of who-knows where. I scoffed at the though.
I know what you're thinking, 'Why is she acting like nothing happened?' And to answer that, because this wasn't the first time I'd been mixed up in my brothers affairs and I've been kidnapped, but he had never asked anyone to watch over me which was worried me slightly. I'd have to ask about that. Especially since it was Cameron. I would have rather had anyone else.
