Broken

Chapter 8

Pulling up to the hospital I felt my phone going off in my pocket telling me I got a text.

hey princess I hope you're having a good day .

Hmm should I tell him where I am? No, I don't want to burden him. So I'll leave it he doesn't need to know its not like we are together. My phone went off again,

Taylor why are you bleeding !!!! Where are you? And don't lie to me.

What how did he know I was bleeding !unless I sent him a picture oh please tell me my phone didn't glitch and send a pic. Well isn't today just my lucky day it did.

I'm at the hospital Louis showed up at the diner and threw a glass at me and it cut my head he threatened me too saying if the caught me alone I'd regret it.

I got signed in and the doctor told me everything looks ok but, I shouldn't go back to work for a while and that I should get the cops involved. Before I could step out the door I felt strong arms around me I almost screamed until I realized it was Matt.
"Are you ok? I was so worried when I saw the picture, what did the doctor say?"
He just kept squeezing me I couldn't get a word in. " I'd tell you if you'd quit squeezing me to death, I'm fine the doctor says I'm fine, I just need to go to the cops and get them involved and shouldn't go back to work for awhile, but other than that I'm ok. I've never seen him that violent before."
The whole time he didn't let go of me I couldn't help but feel safe and warm with his arms around me.

" Maybe you should stay with me tonight. I can get someone to drive your car back to your place and I can take you back in the morning if you'd like. Or I could just drive you home. It's up to you." Ah the dilemma do I go home or with Matt, I wanna go with him so bad but at the same time I don't think I should yet. " Can you take me home tonight I'd just feel more comfortable there after everything that's happened today.

" Absolutely princess, come on my car is right out front." It didn't take very long for us to get to Nikki's I honestly didn't want to go,but I was so tired I could barely stand up.  As soon as I got out of the car Matt picked me up bridal style and carried me into the house.
" What are you doing? I can walk you know I just got hit on the head I'm not crippled."  Smiling and shaking his head. "I know but you're barely awake and I called Nikki and she left the door unlocked so I'm taking you to bed,"

Kicking my bedroom door open and seeing my bed was the best site in the world, I couldn't wait to climb into it, in fact I'm not even going to change I just wanna sleep. " do you want me to grab you some sleep clothes or do you not wear anything?" I could see a smirk on his face and couldn't help but blush at his remark. " I do sleep in clothes , but I'm to tired to change and just am going to sleep so can you please put me down."
Walking over to the bed with me still in his arms he pulled back the covers and laid me in bed, I was off the sleep before he even pulled the covers up.

" goodnight princess  sweet dreams "
