Stark. A name that you felt like you hadn't lived up to. You never felt the convenience of that name even though everywhere you go, people ask you questions-- but they're usually not about you: How did your brother become so successful? Why did he do all of this-- save the world and what-not? But once you finally gotten a question that was for yourself, you were completely and utterly disappointed: How come you haven't lived up to your brother? That was one of the worst things anyone could've asked you. You felt like shutting that reporter up any way you possibly could, but all you did was politely tell them you are unable to answer their question.

And now here you were, in a building with the one and only Avengers. They all were staring at you with either the emotion of curiosity, interest, confusion, or a mix of all three unless they're you're older brother. He was extremely ecstatic to finally see you after ten or more so years while undercover from the world.

"So," Tony started with a gigantic smile plastered onto that face of his. "How are you? Where did you go? Oh god, I missed you! Hey, have you seen technology and how it has advanced over the years??"

Staring at him, your mind went completely blank and couldn't help but say this one thing.

"Tony, I'm not as old as the Captain over there-- I've seen technology and its advances."

Silence filled the air. Steve raised an eyebrow at you, slightly insulted but also slightly amused. Clint couldn't help himself from laughing at your quote. Tony stood there, wiping a fake tear from his eye.

"That's my little sister..."

"Oh shut it, Anthony."

In your honor, Tony of course had put together a "Welcome Home" gathering. The thing was, you didn't know three fourths of the guests that were invited to this occasion. So now you had your butt down on a bench on the balcony, holding a drink between your fingers and taking a sip once in a while. You watched the luminous sun set itself down.

Inside Tony searched for you, pausing every once in a while to try and get as many girls' attention on him by swooning them with his looks. When his thoughts finally went back to you, he found you with a half finished drink in your hand and comfy blanket over your shoulders, staring at the skyline. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and sat beside you, enjoying the view, too.

"What are you doing out here? So many people want to meet you inside!"

You sighed and hugged yourself tigher. "What's the point? The only reason they want to meet me is because I'm your little sister..." you said grumbling, taking another sip.

Tony looked at you, trying to persuade you that's not the reason. "No, no, no!" He looked over his shoulder and waved over one of the guests. "Hey, have you met my sister?"

The man with blonde hair and dark brown eyes looked down at you, smiling polietly. "So this is your little sister!"

You grunted, "Go away before I wipe that smile off your damn face."

The guy's smile faded before he ran back into the party, scared for his life. Tony frowned at you, "You didn't give him a chance!"

You glared at Tony, eyes becoming glassy. "He didn't know my name, Tony! I'm known as Tony Stark's little sister and that's all." Through gritted teeth and teary eyes, you just exploded. "I-I'm not known as a successor like you are. Everywhere I go, it's Tony this, Tony that! I can't even go to a Starbucks without being bothered with questions about you. Every. Single. Damn. Place." By now, small tears were falling down your face uncontrollably. You couldn't help it.

Tony listened, to all of it. He looked at you straight in the eyes and listened. When you finished, he told you to scoot over and sat next to you under the blanket. He put an arm around your shoulder, kissing you forhead.

"They're all stupid then," Tony murmured, looking back at the sky. "I'm not trying to sound all cliché, but it's they're fault for not asking you questions. You're an amazing, talented, very beautiful," You giggled a little, wiping your eyes. "Woman. You have succeeded in your own way. And trust me, you will one day be appreciated for whatever amazing shit you do."

You smiled, genuinely. "Thanks, Tony. You know you're the best brother, right?"

"Yeah, I know. But really, if you need anything, anything, I'm here-- we're family."

You punched his shoulder, both of you laughing. Once it died down, Tony was called in by another woman.

"Mr. Stark, may I speak with you?"

You smirked and told him to go. He kissed the top of your head, telling you to have fun before he went to have a little chat with the blonde that called him over.

"Well," you sigh again, folding the blanket and putting it on the bench. You fixed your hair, dress, and tear stained face quickly before walking back into the tower. "Might as well join the party-- it is for me."
