Hidden deep within Angel Island is a shrine where the Master Emerald resides, an ancient crystal said to hold a destructive creature, the area is not deserted however, the guardian of the gem is an Echidna named Knuckles, and today Knuckles is feeling a little uneasy.
"I have a strange feeling" said Knuckles looking at the forest on his island "Heh, maybe that Bat is just going to try to steal it, typical". Knuckles uneasiness turned into panic, "I'm feeling some strange energy, hopefully it is just Shadow". Then Knuckles got the sudden realization, "Wait, why would Shadow come here? Possibly left his wallet?" Once again Knuckles thought to himself, "Hold on, WE DON'T HAVE POCKETS!"
Just then a white hedgehog appeared out of nowhere, "It's been a while since I've been on this island" the creature spoken "Yes, Far too long". Knuckles got into a defensive stance and said "Hey who are you and what do you want!" the creature simply looked up at Knuckles and said "Simple minded fools like yourself don't deserve an answer." Then Knuckles growled and said "Look, I can be nice but when I'm treated like trash I get angry!"
The creature laughed and said "Garbage is garbage.", Just as Knuckles was about to charge at the creature he felt a pain in his chest, the creature had already hit him, "Consider that a warning shot!" the creature laughed and made his way to the Master Emerald. "What are you!" Knuckles said in between breaths. "Just call me... Nazo." said the creature as he teleported away with the Master Emerald, "Naz..." Knuckles attempted to say his name but passed out from the punch.
Where will Nazo go next? what evil is he planning? Where is Sonic when we need him? and How will they defeat Nazo?
