Episode Five, A Scavenger Hunt and a Demon

Friday November 1st, 8:00 a.m

I constantly hear footsteps. I refused to open my eyes to see what it was though. I was really comfortable, warm, and not getting up for nothing. Then, the footsteps get even closer to me. Oh no, please don't let it be time.

Closer and closer and CLOSER! I could feel a presence right above me, staring down on me. It was like another demon about to plunge it's teeth into my skin and rip me to shreds, NO! I don't want that to happen, I won't let it happen. I felt something warm and skinny touch my face..this is it....THIS IS THE END!!!!

"Grim! Wake up it's time for school. If you don't get up we are going to be late" Spring yelled shaking me back and forth.

I moaned then threw the covers over my head hoping she would just walk away. When it got silent I thought I was right until I felt something big Jump on me. But how warm it was I could tell it was, Spring.

"Grimmy lets go!" she said rocking both of us back and forth until we fell off the couch.

I Sprung up with a really angry grin. She rubbed her butt and smiled knowing I was upset. I helped her up then went upstairs to get ready for school, and by get ready I mean got into the bathroom and used my demon powers to change clothes and clean myself, yeah I'm one lazy demon.

When I came downstairs she was waiting for me. It looked like she was listening to music due to all the head bobbing an leg kicking but their were no earphones in her eye, I guess that's just her "waiting dance."

I grabbed a orange from the fruit basket and placed it in my mouth while I went into the cabinet to get some cookies then I tapped her so we both could leave, Thank god it's Friday.

Friday November 1st, 8:45 a.m

We ran down the street trying to make it to school on time, well it was more like I getting dragged down the street because I was to lazy to walk myself. She was doing a ok job if you want to say barely getting anywhere. But she was trying her best, I give her credit.

Friday November 1st, 10:00 a.m

Well, we finally made it to school but we both got detentions for being super late. The guard told us to go into the auditorium and sit down when she dragged me in there, everyone was sitting in there. That's when I stopped being lazy and got up from the floor. She face lit up with anger, scaring the shit out of me.

"What's going on here?" I said sitting down after getting beaten by Spring.

"I don't know myself. No one said their was going to be a assembly today."

Everyone got quiet when some tell guy in a suit went on the stage with a slightly shorter man.

"Good morning students!"

"GOOD MORNING PRINCIPAL BROWN!!!" said everybody but me. Wait? is that our principal?

"Now your probably wondering why I brought you all here instead of going to class."

"YEAH WHATS UP WITH THAT!!!!" I yelled out loud making everyone turn and look at me.

"Well I was just about to tell you if I wasn't interrupted."

I put my hands up as a "I'm sorry" signal then put them down and folded them.

"Ok now I brought you all here to give a special announcement. This guy beside me is Mr. Tony Blackwell a funder of our school, Strawberry High."

You could hear everybody mumble things. I was already confused, I didn't even know that was our principal.

"Recently, Mr. Tony came to me and asked, Why don't we have a scavenger hunt? Well I'm pleased to tell you that today, you students will be put to the test to find as many items as you possibly can. The winner will receive 500$."
