I sat at the edge of the cliff close to my house. It's been 12 years since we defeated, Nightmare, and brought peace to this world. Since then, Demons, and, Humans, lived as one. You still had your demons that still hated humans and your humans that hated demons but that's all to be expected. After the big fight me and, Spring, got married and had three lovely children. Two girls and One boy.

I let the warm summer breeze push my hair back as it calmed me. The day me and, Spring, made that contract I didn't know she was a half demon. Now that I know...i can't eat her soul, but that's perfect because I get to spend more time with her....and our children. Since the battle we barely see, Xavier, and Heaven. I wonder if he is going to eat her soul.

"Are you thinking again, daddy?" said a sweet voice behind me.

I turned around to see our youngest child, May, standing cheerfully with her little green flowered dress on. May was a half demon but she was very strong for her age (gets it from her father...I'm so proud)

I picked her up and sat her on my lap. She kicked her feet as we stared at the sun, telling jokes and laughing. She stared at me with her big brown eyes.

"Daddy, was it always like this?"

"Like what baby?"

She turned and stared into the sky. Her face got serious when he gripped her clothes.

"Was it always so peaceful?"

I placed my hands on her and smiled.

"There was a time...where our kind was looked down upon. Us demons had it rough ever since, The Great Plunge fused our worlds together. But even then we demons learned that instead of hating humans to get along and live with them. That's how I met your mother."

She wrapped my arms around her and embraced me. I squeezed her tightly kissed her forehead.

"You guys come here for a moment" Spring yelled out.

"You heard her...lets go!" I smiled, picking, May, up then walking towards the house.

We went in and she closed the door. Our middle child, Roderick was sitting at the table with our oldest daughter, January.

Roderick is a half demon too. He tends to adventure a lot, finding new things to explore and meeting new people.

January was a shadow demon. She tends to keep to herself and write poems with her shadow.

Me and, May, say down at the table as well. Spring stood in the front of it.

"What's going on, Ma?" Roderick asked in confusion.

She cleared her throat and put on her game face.

"My family...i just got news from, Heaven. We are all invited to her wedding in August."

("So she's not dead")

"That's cool!" cheered, May.

"She told us to pack all of our things to come spend the celebration with her in Hawaii."

"Hawaii, huh?" January repeated.

"That can give me new ideas on some poems."

"What's with you and your poems?" Roderick asked.

"They keep me calm and collective" January said.

"So let's all get our things and head out" Spring said happily.

Everyone cheered and went to pack up their things. Leaving me and, Spring, alone.

I can't believe it has been 12 years already" Spring signed.

"Yeah I know but it's been peaceful since then too" I said holding her from behind.

"What if, Nightmare, comes back?" she said worried.

"Stop being such a mood killer. He's resting in peace so let's stop talking about this and get our stuff ready."

"Ok" she said kissing me.

She walked up the steps. I looked out the window into the sun.

Things...are finally peaceful. It just goes to show you that humans and demons came live together to create a better world with love as the key. This is..true peace.

We all was ready and packed. We started to walk away when me and, Spring, turned around.

"We hope you enjoyed our story" she said with a smile.

"And we hope to see you again."

Our children came back and smiled. As we waved goodbye.

SEE YOU LATER!
