Percy and Me (Percy x Reader)

Chapter 3

~And the story begins~

Percy's POV:
Jessie and I walk to my cabin. Halfway there, Annabeth and Chiron stop us. "That's right. They're dating. They're also planning to escape camp together!" Annabeth says with an evil look. I know I'm blushing, so Jessie probably is too. "Is this true Percy? If it is, either you or your friend will have to leave camp." Chiron says stiffly. I look to the ground. It's not true, we aren't dating, but that doesn't mean I don't have feelings for Jessie. Is Jessie more important then CHB? (Camp Half Blood)

Your POV:
I stare at the ground nervously, trying not to speak. Chiron breathes heavily in front of me. Even though I can't see it, I can feel Annabeth's harsh grin. "It's time for answers! I'm not going to wait all day!" Chiron barked at Percy and I. I can't do this all day, it's getting dark. I look up at Chiron. His face is angrier then I thought it'd be. "I- Percy and I- We..." I start to say. Percy looks up, looks me right in the eye, and whispers "I'll handle this."

"I have feelings for Jessie. I care about her. I'm not letting her leave CHB, I'm not letting her leave me. She's staying here, We're staying here, and we are and never were going to leave camp. I don't care what Annabeth says." Percy says very clearly. He stares into Chiron's eyes with a straight face. Chiron's frown spreads into a smile. "Congratulations." Chiron claps. "You just stood up for yourself."

Percy's mouth drops open. I smile from ear to ear. "Can I have a hug?" I ask. Percy and I share a hug, and after a while, we release. I look back at Annabeth. She is not happy.

Annabeth's POV:
The way Percy looks at her, hugs her, and talks to her. I envy her. Jessie is just another bitch getting in the way of Percy and I, and she won't last long. Little do they know, I was watching them. I was watching their kiss. Their hugs. Jessie's secret.
