Percy and Me (Percy x Reader)

Chapter 5

Your POV:
Percy and I don't run into Annabeth again until dinner. She gives us a dirty look. "Just ignore her, she's not worth our time." Percy whispers to me. She shoves my plate back and starts laughing loudly. I look down at my shirt, she got spaghetti and meat sauce all over it. I'm about to do the same to her but Percy pulls me away from her. I give her and Percy deadly looks. "What was that for?" I angrily ask Percy after Annabeth leaves.

"Just because she started the war doesn't mean you have to finish it." Percy says as we sit down. I think about what he said, and after eating some bread, come to an understanding. "Thank the gods I have you!" I cheerfully tell Percy. I hug him and he hugs me back. "Don't worry Jessie, because you have me, not Annabeth." Percy says, then lightly kisses my cheek. I blush, so Percy kisses my cheek again. No one can ruin what Percy and I have, not even Annabeth.

Percy's POV:
Jessie and I walk back to the cabin holding hands. When we enter the cabin, I see Annabeth sitting on Jessie's bunk, holding her luggage. She's up to something, I know it. "Annabeth... What's going on?" I ask confused. Jessie's face is almost red with anger. "And why do you have my stuff?" Jess says, about to explode. Annabeth smiles and puts her hand in her pocket. She takes it back out with a small folded piece of paper. Jess gets more and more red. Does she have something to hide?

"Guess what I found?" Annabeth says holding the paper between her fingers. Jess is red as a tomato. Annabeth starts unfolding the paper. "How'd you get in here? You do not have permission to go through my stuff!" Jess yells. Annabeth finishes unfolding the paper and ignores Jessie. "Are you ready to see it Percy?" Annabeth says, waving the paper like a fan. "No, he's not! What did I ever do to you?" Jess yells again.

I'm starting to get scared, Jess obviously knows what the paper is and it's probably pretty bad. Annabeth slowly turns the paper around so it faces Jess and I. She jumps down from Jessie's bunk and hands me the paper. I examine it, it's a picture of Jessie and a guy. It says 2/3 the best year of my life. I hand it to Jessie.

Your POV:
I can't believe Annabeth. She had to show Percy the picture. The picture is from right before I came to camp. It's me and my ex boyfriend, we broke up right before I came to camp. I rip up the picture trying to pretend like it's nothing. "I think you should go to the Aphrodite cabin, where people like you belong." Percy says, handing me my luggage.
I can't believe it. "Too bad. Do you want to go on a walk?" Annabeth asks Percy. I can't believe she'd say that. I just lost Percy. I just lost someone I... Love.
