'Home' had turned out to be 20 minutes away in Midtown Center at 143 West 48th Street in an old church with a garage up front posing as an alias.

The phones ringing pulled me out of my nostalgia. When i answered no one was on the other line. Shivers ran down my spine, i had a feeling of fore-boding but i pushed it aside, it wasnt the first time someone had hung up so there was no reason to fret about it.

The files i was going through didnt hold my interest, i was just supposed to look out for irregularities, that meant if the plans and members were all accounted for and whether anything had been forgotten but i knew i wouldnt find anything, before handing in reports we had to go over them 3 times ourselves and once with the teams captain. There was no room for mistakes.

I knew that i was given desk duty so that i could read about past problems and learn from them, i didnt know how that was going to help since i was pretty sure should i find myself in such a situation i wouldnt remember what was to be done against it but who knew maybe i would?!

And so i kept busy, going through an endless supply of files, cramming as many facts into my head as possible, until my head was about to explode, i felt dizzy from all the inforamtion tidbits floating around in my brain, my blood was rushing in my head, the pounding of it went through my whole body.

Andy had been seriously reprimanded when we got back to H.Q, he was still off duty due to an attack by a ghoul which had ended badly for him and deadly for the ghoul. He was still at the infirmary for a check up to see if he had caused any more harm to his body while he had been out to come and get me.

I knew that he would walk in any moment and save me form this paper hell, he had the happy nack of coming just at the right moment. I knew that i should still cover more files so i was waiting for an excues, namly him, to put down my work and start heading either back to my room or up to the work out room.

I was still all tingly from my adrenaline rush from our way home, so i was pretty much itching for a fight even if it wasnt a real one and Andy although hurt was still an opponent i had to take seriously, If i went lightly on him, he would make me pay in the worst sort of way. He would have me flat on my back in a matter of seconds and i really didnt want him to crow it over me any more than he already did when it happened. If he managed to do that in his current condition i would never live it down.

And so i sat and waited.

It may have only taken a few minutes but it was WAY to long for my pleasure and when he finally came through the door I was already up and moving, grabbing my workout bag from the floor before the door swung shut, i followed Andy towards the door across the room where our training fights took place, i was already planning out in my mind which new moves i would try out on him.

But just before we reached the door Don stepped in our way; " I think its better you sit this on out." he said to Andy. I pulled a face, i really wanted to get my muscles moving and nothing worked better than a go at the mats. He must have known what i was thinking because he looked at me with such an annoying smirk " Dont worry i'll spar with you tonight."

I was now really looking forward to this, an evil smile spread across my face and i knew i looked diabolical. I was SO going to enjoy this.

Picture on the right shows thier base Which is really located on 143 West 48th Street. I wanted to go into the Gothic Architechture. Hope you like it! ^^
