Date night (part 1)

Dalton's P.O.V

Mack gets out of work in 10 minutes. I had planned this date night for us. I made reservations at this restaurant about a month ago. It's been so hard not telling Mack what I have planned, we tell each other everything.
Mack had gotten home, taken a shower and we both got all dressed up.

We were on our way to the restaurant, I was drive and Mack was on his phone playing Pokemon go. "It seems your always playing that game." I said "it's a fun game. I caught 22 yesterday and I just caught a Weedle." Mack responds "so where are we going anyways?" He asks "you'll see. I think your gonna love it." I tell him "as long as there's food and your there I'll love it no matter what it is." Mack told me kissing my cheek. "We're here." I said pulling up to the restaurant. "Wow." MacKenzie said. We walked inside and got our table which was out on the balcony and it had a perfect view of the beach and the sunset. "What did I ever do to deserve a boyfriend like you?" He asked me "you don't deserve me. That's the problem." I said and looked at Mack he looked hurt after I said that "I'm joking. You deserve more than me. You deserve better." I said "Maybe I do deserve better." MacKenzie said looking dead serious.

I looked for any sense of him joking in his expression and his eyes, but I found nothing. He was dead serious and I felt like someone just stabbed me in my heart "Does that mean you don't want me anymore." I asked saddened "You said it yourself, I deserve better." He told me "Really? I planned all this for us. I had to get plan this a month ago so I could get us this reservation and table. Are you really gonna leave me? I treat you so good. I thought you loved me but now it's clear you don't." I said then got up, payed and went to the car.

I got in the car, started it and just left. Left without my Ex-boyfriend MacKenzie. I was so mad, I put so much into this relationship and he's just gonna dump it all out over a little joke? My phone rang, I looked over and it was MacKenzie, I grabbed my phone thought for a minute then pressed ignore. I looked back up at the road to see a bright light, I pulled the steering wheel and swerved.......
