CHAPTER 4: THE BETRAYAL

~Alice's POV~
I sat on my bed in my blue strapless dress that goes down to my knees, past my chest area is covered in blue sequence. My hair is straightened and I didn't wear eyeliner so my bright blue eyes popped out. I have to say even though I am a size 0 in my jeans I am very self conscious of my weight, and how I look compared to everyone else. But tonight I didn't care if my wrists are showing. Well fine I am wearing so many bracelets hoping Brendan or anyone else see's my cuts. If they did it's an easy excuse. 'I got a new kitten and she uses me as a scratching post...' I thought over and over in my head hoping not to choke if anyone asks. My phone lit up. Of course! It's Alex wanting to know if I wanted to play xbox tonight like always. Sadly enough I was caught telling her how I got asked out and I was scared on how the night would go.
My mom yelled at me saying Brendan was here to pick me up. I quickly checked to make sure my blades were in the back of my phone case then headed downstairs. He looked perfect as always. He wore a black tuxedo with a blue tie. My mom asked for one picture of us next thing we know we were being blinded with the flash on my moms camera for at least 15 times. We went into Brendan's moms car and went to the dance.
I was right Madison Megan Paige and Danielle were there in their group at a table. All of them had dates. Even Madison with her last minute one. Any guy would be lucky to go with her. Wow she got Kevin Jones quarter back on our schools football team. Not going to ask how she got stuck with him. After a few fast songs came on the first slow song of the night. Unfortunately I needed to use the washroom. So I told Brendan I'd be right back. So I left.
~Brendans POV~
I was sitting down waiting for Alice to come back from the bathroom then Madison walked up to me grabbed my hands and told me to dance with her or she would tell the whole school I had slept with her. I didn't know if I would risk that rumour being out in the open or dance with her. Next thing I knew I was dancing with her. I didn't do anything. She just forced herself on me. And then Alice walked in on it. Right when Madison kissed me, I didnt kiss her. She kissed me. I tried explaining to Alice what happened but she ran out before I could say a word.
(A.N OKAY BRENDAN IS NOT THE BAD GUY MADISON IS!!!! BRENDAN DIDN'T DO ANYTHING IT WAS MADISON. SO BEFORE BRENDAN GETS HATE RE READ IT. IT CLEARLY SAYS MADISON FORCED BRENDAN!!!!!)
~Alice's POV~
I ran out of the dance to the closest bridge. I was about to jump then Brendan came up to me. I was going to jump then he grabbed me by my waist and stopped me and explained to me what had all happened. I believed him because well Madison is a bitch and she does that to people. So After he explained to me what happened he kissed me. Not on the cheek, but on the lips. It was the best kiss I ever had. No there wasn't any sexual touching. It was a passionate kiss. He held me in his arms. It was the best night I've had so far. After our long kiss he took off my bracelets and kissed my scars. I swear he was no ordinary guy. He was like sent from a dream land.
After the bridge he walked me home and we chilled in our PJ's and played xbox. YUP! I could tell this dude is the one for me.
